Civic Hotel

Clean and clearly recently renovated, helpful staff, overall pleasant environment. Unfortunately overnight it was very noisy, lots of banging doors, could hear conversations through walls and in the corridor. Our window looked out onto a lightwell with several other windows so light was coming in all night, and the blind had gaps letting a lot of light in.

The hotel was handy for I was workings The room I stayed in was clean and compact. Staff on reception were pleasant. Didn't have breakfast at the hotel so can't comment. Overall okay for a two night stay

Welcome was warm and helpful. Rooms show some signs of refurbishment though the passage ways were uneven and slightly dangerous with the walkway carpets that were laid down.

The staff was very helpful. It would have been nice if the reception area was bigger. There needs to be bannisters that extend up the full length of the stairs. The price and location were very good.

My stay was a last min booking, the staff where very friendly, but the the room were smelling of damp. and persistent fruit flys, blood stain on duvet, constantly been bitten by beg bugs, this hotel could do with a revam and update i would not stay again. Due to the cleandenest of the property. Staff were nice if you dont mind stay with bugs it ok.

Cheap and cheerful can’t fault it for the money.

This stay was not as advertised. The building doesn’t even look like the photos, the room definitely didn’t look like the photos. It was clean but tiny and felt like a hostel. Fine if you’re on a budget and close to the Piccadilly line to get to Heathrow.

Check in was fast and customer service at counter was friendly. The room was adequate for the night, but there's no a/c, so had to leave window open, which opens from the top. Therefore, had to leave blinds up all evening and night and my ground floor room looked out on 2 sheds that employees were in and out of, so I had no privacy and it was noisy. Also, the people in the room next to me were up banging furniture and their door all night. I had to be up at 330am for an early flight, so tried to go to sleep early, but I ended up not sleeping at all because of all these things. I would not recommend or stay again.

The room was very hot and you could not open the window properly. Luckily I was able to change to a bigger room but I still needed a fan. The TVs did not work in either room.

The room was very noisy and very warm. The bed was of bad quality, with no support at all. Did not enjoy my stay here.
