Civic Hotel

Was not happy for them to photocopy my driving license found a old work I’d. Basic but ok for the price.

Hotel is good but service is very very poor, my checking time was 10:30 and i have to wait 2 hours because my room wasnt clean and ready Anyhow i check in at 12:30 had shower and went to sleep by 5 pm i got paper note from the bottom of door stating " please do not use shower, to resolve this case contact reception, when i went to recepection the guy ask me to take shower in the staff bathroom. I checked my shower it was working properly, my wife denied to use staff washroom and next morning we had shower in our room and there was no problem,, so why we have been asked to shower in another bathroom? Please be care full ..

An inexpensive but practical option for a short stay near Twickenham Stadium. The bus to Twickenham Stadium could be caught at the stop immediately outside the hotel. £1.20 per person to get to Twickenham and a half hour journey. The room was fine, the bed comfortable. We enjoyed being able to make a cup of tea and relax after our day out and being able to watch TV. After a good night's sleep and a fine shower we made our way back to Coventry. There was no breakfast available, but we kept starvation away by visiting a nearby McDonalds!

Absolutely no frills hotel. Promises parking on site, but is limited as allows other people to block you in with a mad scurry to find them if you want to leave in your car

The hotel was very convenient, with free parking and close to the London Underground. However, the room was small, smelled of smoke, had bare screws protruding from the wall, chipped furniture, an odd decoration surrounded by masking tape; over all it seemed thrown together and unfinished. Although the description said that breakfast was available, it was not. The staff were helpful. For a cheap stay with free parking, it offers basic accommodation.

Friendly staff on check in, room was basic but clean and comfortable and fine for somewhere to sleep after the rugby. Onsite parking was small but okay.

This was a last minute booking so wasn’t expecting much. Room was simple but nice. Staff were very pleasant. Great if you wanted waking up early as it’s not very sound prof but it’s ok.

It was a nice clean room, good shower and helpful staff. Its a good place to stay for a night or 2 if you are looking for somewhere to sleep. Hounslow central is few minutes walk unfortunately it was close while we were there but Hounslow main station is also within walking distance.

The personnel were very nice and helpful.Bathroom and linens were clean. However, the street noise was terrible and noise from other rooms was terrible. I did not get any sleep. There was no breakfast

Somewhat disappointing given the reviews on this website, but as they say you get what you pay for. Booked this last minute and thought great price for the high ratings. Hotel has been recently refurbished, but it’s as if they never quite finished it, shower room was modern and clean, but handle missing on cabinet, toilet seat broken, shaver socket didn’t quite fit. Beds were comfy and sheets clean, but room smelled a little musty and walls were already showing signs of wear and tear. No mirror in room only one in bathroom, no bedside lamps, one lonely picture on the wall. One thing to note, this hotel is on the Heathrow flight path and you hear the planes from around 5:30am. Staff were were really nice and friendly, location is 5 minutes from the tube.
