"Excellent"

Friendly staff, good breakfast. Off-street parking was ideal for our bikes, and it's a 10min walk to the gorgeous seaside and downtown.

We had a great stay as a family of 5 on a road trip, the room was the perfect set up with two bedrooms, perfect for a family. The host was amazing and could not have done more for us.

Fantastic stay at Sherborne Lodge. Lynn is a fantastic host. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she always wanted to help. Great value for money and an amazing breakfast with so much choice. Thanks again Paul

"War nicht so unseres"

Die Lage fanden wir gut, den Parkplatz und, dass man das Fenster öffnen konnte. Es war ruhig. Das Frühstück war mit frischem Obst.

Es war doch schon etwas ungepflegt. Im Eingangsbereich hat es nach Rauch gerochen. Die Betten waren nicht gut und bei der Türe zum Bad waren wir uns nicht sicher, ob sie wieder aufgeht wenn sie mal zu ist. Und Teppich. Das stört mich immer.

"It was ok."

We liked that we could park on site. The breakfast menu had lots of choice. The location was good. We liked that they had proper mugs to use in the room not those small cups many hotels and B&Bs have and lots of milk,tea,sugar top up stations outside the rooms if you needed more. We liked that our family room had a separate room for our son to sleep in. The bathroom was clean and had shampoo and body wash to use and plenty of toilet paper.

We didn't like how low the bed was and the mattress was very uncomfortable the bed was on a slight slant. We also got put off with having a long gray hair in our son's scrambled eggs at breakfast. The host had a very dry and sarcastic sense of humour which comes off a little rude at first meeting.It was quite off putting when we were trying to check in and was forced to choose what we wanted for breakfast the next morning. It would have been nice to look at the menu once settled and hand in the form a little while later. We were on the top floor so lots of steps to go up and down with luggage.
