"Fabulous overnight stay in Dorchester"

Karl & Jocelyn were very friendly, welcoming & helpful. The rooms were spacious & extremely comfortable. Lots of lovely little extra touches in the room to make our stay feel luxurious. We wish we could have stayed longer. Great location with an easy walk to the nearest carpark. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options.

"Lovely room, great hosts, beautiful old Georgian property."

The room was very well appointed, with everything needed for a very comfortable stay. It was close to the main shopping area, with a lovely restaurant about 6 doors away.

I could have done with a lift or a room on a lower floor, but didn't think about this when I booked - my fault!

Lovely location. Comfy clean facilities and was close by. Karl and Jocelyn were brilliant hosts. Took excellent care in ensuring I was comfortable. Both provided sound advice about the area. Karl booked me taxis and even posted my purse to me which I left behind. Breakfast was superb. Parking close by. No issue at all.

The hotel's location in the centre of Dorchester was perfect for our week of exploring Dorchester and the rest of Dorset. Carl and Jocelyn, the proprietors, were very hospitable and looked after us so well. The rooms were excellent. Our room had a separate sitting area, which was much appreciated. The breakfasts were exceptional, with a great choice of hot and cold dishes. There were different items of fresh fruit every day, and this was a real treat.

Karl and Joycelyn were wonderful! Breakfast was excellent and set us up for a day walking. Bed was very comfortable. All in all a very excellent stay.
