Fortingall

This hotel has a cosy and attractive decor: it feels like the home of a friend. The staff materialise and offer tea with a friendly smile just after you collapse into a chair in front of the open fire after a long hike. The food is delicious, and there has been real thoughtfulness about the comfort of guests

Very nice hotel, beautifully located in the village of fortingall ,roaring fire ,lovely food very nice room ,friendly helpful staff ,can not praise this hotel enough

Ceiling light in the bedroom would have been beneficial, however bedside light were sufficient once warmed up, great selection of coffee and tea in room (plus whiskey in the room) food fantastic! Staff very friendly and attentive, and dogs allowed.

This hotel was brilliant in every way. It could not be faulted. Service food and rooms. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Location was lovely too.

We loved everything about the Fortingall Hotel! From the location (wonderful views and walks), the incredibly helpful staff, the fabulous food and the general comfort of the hotel, we enjoyed our stay so much we stayed an extra night! The hotel has the feel of staying with friends at their small country house - but with much better food! It is located about 10 - 15 minutes outside of Aberfeldy but is a good base for visiting the surrounding area. Can't wait to return next year.

Hotel fine food good but all shut by 1100 everybody left and we were still in lounge finishing wine not a word said and locked in not great

We wanted something remote and this was. Dark sky, quiet and no phone signal.

Lovely if you want to experience lovely scenery and warm cozy fires. Food excellent both dinner and breakfast.

Had a Lovely overnight at the hotel, staff were fabulous, I have limited mobility and the staff couldn't do enough to ensure my needs were met. We would return to this hotel.

Fantastic hotel, would highly recommend. Great location for exploring. Restaurant also very good and staff very attentive. Customer service clearly a priority.
