Locanda Le Piazze

Fantastisk flott sted, alt er strøkent og beste servicen. Perfekt sted å slappe av. Kort vei til alle steder i Toscana. Nydelig å trekke seg tilbake til roen etter besøk i litt mer hektiske byer. Vår andre tur til Locanda Le Piazze, og mulig det blir flere:)

Lovely property with well maintained grounds . Upscale vibe and comfortable beds . Gorgeous views of rolling hills olive trees and vineyards .

Too remote with dirt road driving Going to restaurants took awhile .

Wonderful locanda in a beautiful setting. Spacious rooms and a stunning pool. Private parking. A perfect location for exploring Chianti and nearby Tuscan villages. Onsite restaurant -Tavola di Guido - is a treat (although not our best/favorite meal in Italy.)

Absent and inattentive pool staff - we were told staff would patrol the pool area every 15-20 minutes to attend to guests/drink orders - but no one ever came down. There were multiple groups at the pool, but we had to walk up and ask for service. We also had some miscommunication with the front desk staff, as they signed us up for an onsite tasting experience and were going to charge us for it when we had only inquired. As other reviewers have mentioned, the breakfast offerings were a little underwhelming.

We loved, loved, loved our incredible week at Locanda Le Piazze! What an AMAZING time we had, from the night we arrived to the morning we sadly had to depart. There’s no question….we are definitely going back for a second, third, etc visit! We are so impressed, and in love with Locanda Le Piazze and its staff!!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful, peaceful, lovely hotel and setting. As a boutique hotel, they are on point in every way with an exclusive feel. The staff are so kind and helpful, always having time to chat while providing high-quality service. The amenities are enjoyable, and the view is incomparable. Perfect for a couple looking for relaxation, as this is a place to unwind with quiet we have never experienced. We had lots of plans to see and go places in Tuscany, but we only did a few as we wanted to relax on the premises. The pool is small but perfect, lots of lounge chairs with shade or sun, and wine by the pool with the view was incredibly enjoyable. We stayed in the 'standard room.' The room itself is small but the bathroom is large and provides the boutique quality you expect. The chef and staff on site make each dining time relaxing and the quality of food is excellent, whether at the casual or fine dining space. Plus, the addition of their local wine tops off the experience. Quick and easy to get to San Gimignano and Siena but you feel like you are in another world of beauty and serenity. Highly recommend for couples looking for peace, quiet and beauty.

If you’re looking for a great and quiet place to stay in Tuscany, Locanda le Piazze is where you need to go! This is a boutique hotel, and it definitely feels like it. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating. We were traveling to Tuscany from Rome during a train strike, and they even helped us book a private transfer from Rome to their hotel - which was so nice to not have to worry about it. We also booked a lunch and wine tasting at their sister property (One Belvedere), which they personally drove us to and from so we didn’t have to walk far. All of the food and meals we had here were amazing. The room was so perfect with great Tuscan charm - yet a modern/warm feel. The property was overall dreamy - I’m not sure I’ll be able to stay anywhere else in Tuscany whenever we come back!

The hotel’s location was absolutely amazing, surrounded by breathtaking Tuscan views. The property had all the facilities we needed, the breakfast was excellent, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming.
