Locanda Le Piazze

Wir fühlten uns von A-Z gut aufgehoben und wie zu Hause. Das Personal war freundlich, herzlich und zuvorkommend aber nicht aufdringlich (genau richtig!). Man fühlte sich Willkommen. Die Anlage ist wunderschön der hügeligen, toskanischen Landschaft angepasst und es hat viele lauschige Plätzchen zum Verweilen und geniessen. Der Swimmingpool hat eine ideale Grösse um einige Schwimmzüge zu geniessen. Es fehlt an nichts, ist sauber und sehr zu empfehlen. Das hoteleigene Weintasting hat mir sehr gefallen und geschmeckt. Es war authentisch, interessant und mit viel herzblut erklärt. Würde ich sehr empfehlen!

Lovely hotel. Great breakfast and location. Wonderful staff. Only downside, room is tiny and no space in the bathroom for toiletry bag etc.

Clean, easily accessible, private parking, airconditioning, good restaurant and a small gym but great views.

The spa treatments were quite expensive.

Le peu de transats disponibles autour de la piscine (les gens qui laissent leur serviette toute la journée !!!). Le rapport qualité prix ( très cher par rapport à d'autres établissements dans la région). La climatisation cassée dans la chambre.

calme, lumière, beauté du site, service parfait et excellent, qualité des massages.. une vue à couper le souffle, une piscine superbe dans la nature d'un parc verdoyant UN BONHEUR PUR

Je trouve que la salle du bistrot n'a pas beaucoup de charme et qu'il faudrait trouver un autre lieu dans le domaine. seul petit bémol

Everything was perfect, feels like the true tuscan vacation. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Very good breakfast and all areas including the room was very clean at all times. Also got complimentary facial and a wine as a gift. I also booked a neck and back massage that was absolutely divine. Will definitely be coming back. It was worth every penny spend.

Ich hatte einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Hotel Locanda le Piazze in Castellina. Die Lage ist traumhaft – mitten in den Weinbergen mit herrlichem Blick auf die Toskana. Besonders gut gefallen haben mir der wunderschöne Pool- und Außenbereich, das sehr gute Frühstück sowie die durchgehend freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Mitarbeiter. Auch die Aufmerksamkeit für Details, wie das immer frische Wasser, fand ich großartig. Mir ist aufgefallen, dass viele Gäste aus den USA kommen, was dem Haus eine eher internationale Atmosphäre verleiht – wer ein sehr authentisch italienisches Umfeld sucht, sollte das im Hinterkopf haben. Insgesamt habe ich mich aber rundum wohlgefühlt und würde das Hotel jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

We recently stayed for 5 nights in the Locanda Le Piazze and it was a wonderful experience. We stayed in their standard room, the “smallest”, but it was actually much bigger and much more than we expected – the room is beautiful and the patio is awesome. The compound is stunning, the pool very nice and the views are exceptional. But what we actually loved most were the people working there. The reception staff (Andrea and Dario in particular) is very welcoming and makes you feel right at home. They were really helpful with all questions and always took time to chat a bit. The service staff was also always so attentive and nice and funny – we enjoyed breakfast and our various dinners (in the bistro twice and once Guido’s table). The food is outstanding and they made sure my special requests (vegan and gluten free) were not only accommodated, but also delivered outstanding meals – very creative, each evening something new and special – I cannot be more grateful for the efforts Guido and his team put into this. Plus Guido is a very nice guy and takes a lot of pride in serving outstanding meals. We also dined at the sister property – One Belvedere in QB Cucina (see separate review, truly outstanding!). There are also the sweetest cats living on the property – personally I think places who treat animals well are always full of good people. We also booked massages in the Spa (very well done) and rented the e-bikes to tour the neighboring villages and valleys (very well maintained). All in all – yes it is quite expensive but we’ve gotten so much more than we expected so I think it is very good value for the money you pay. We hope to return someday. Thanks to all the team for making our stay so memorable!

A peaceful retreat. Our stay here was truly magical – breathtaking views, delicious food and wine, and countless unforgettable moments. The warm and caring staff made everything feel even more special. A place we’ll always carry in our hearts.

Das Zimmer war tip top – sehr gepflegt und blitzsauber. Wir haben geschlafen wie Engel, das Bett war super bequem und die Atmosphäre angenehm ruhig. Auch das Abendessen war hervorragend: Portionen in guter Größe, nettes Ambiente und ein ausgesprochen zuvorkommendes Personal. Das Frühstück war super – köstlicher Kaffee, leckere Marmeladen, Selbstgebackenes und frische Früchte. Vielleicht wäre es noch nett, wenn zusätzlich gebratener Speck, 1–2 Vollkornbrotarten sowie Leinsamen und Haferflocken fürs Joghurt angeboten würden. Insgesamt ein sehr empfehlenswertes Haus mit tollem Service und Wohlfühlfaktor! Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das Personal: immer freundlich, herzlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen.

Der Regen aber dafür kann die Unterkunft nichts :)
