Hotel facilities are more than adequate and staff friendly at all times. Rooms have all the accessories you'll need. Restaurant on 8th floor is excellent. Generally very good all round.

I love the location of this hotel. You can shop till you drop. It's our last stop in China, so we buy a lots of things, then off load in our hotel room and continue shopping. The prices are great! We take Ferry to Hong Kong which is about 5 min Taxi ride from the hotel. We can check in our luggage for our flight from Hong Kong to US before get on the ferry. Best of all, there is no line to wait!

The is the former Sofitel. The hotel is quite beautiful, but incongruous at 60 floors in this city. My room smelt of disinfectant or some horrible air freshener. I could not figure out the twin air conditioning controls and neither could 3-4 people sent up to help. The result was that my room was too hot and the air conditioner kept on going on and off all night long for no apparent reason. It did not cool the room. The room itself was quite large and very nice. Beautiful bathroom. The hotel was pretty empty it seemed. My business partner and I were the only ones at breakfast on the 60th floor at 7:00AM. I can't explain it, but the hotel gave me really bad vibes. Would not stay here again even though there are not many decent choices in Humen.

Enjoyed the stay. Room was big and comfortable. Clean as well. Had a decent gym, and breakfast had a good variety.

Hotel tailored perfectly for business users and has lots of facilities including restaurant on 61st floor with best all round views of Dongguan. . For comfort the rooms have all the extras so no problem there. Overall good hotel which I won't hesitate recommending tp others. If you book thru expedia note that expedia are not easily flexible to change dates. I booked 10 noghts but upon arrival decided to stay the last night in Hong Kong at another hotel. It was torture getting the last day refunded by phoning Expedia although Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Expedia need to be more flexible for business travellers.

This is not the first time I have stayed here, in a year standards have severely declined. It is obvious the hotel is almost empty, its the biggest building in Humen, if there were 100 people in the hotel it was probably a lot. Their costs must be huge, evident in the face that aircon is turned off in common areas, lights etc. I think I saw 2-3 westerners in the hotel this time when it was predominantly western visitors last time. corridors are not vacuumed, it feels dusty and moldy as a result of the air conditioning being off, its 93 degrees with 90% humidity. The hot water in my room was barely warm!! I had to request they turn it up so I could at least shave. This hotel cannot be making money, i would not think they stay afloat very long based on what I saw, I wouldn't elect to stay here again, although there are few options close by.

Stay at this hotel many times, best hotel in this area. Hotel rooms & restaurants located at high floor, good view.

Good location. Clean and good size room. Got free upgrade! Very good service! Will definitely stay again.

this was the third time I stayed in this hotel. overall the hotel was great and the rooms are comfortable especially the bathroom.
