Sheraton Lagos Hotel

Sheraton Lagos Hotel is at the top of this business. Our check-in was smooth and rooms were ready without delayed. I stayed at the top floor Rm 528 and it's lovely. I felt somehow lonely missing my family while coming for our society event. However, the beautiful "welcoming" art work I met in my room set me in a relax mood. Securities were respectful, gallant and helpful, restaurants ladies with beautiful smiles, thanks to Omolade, Mary and others. Housekeeping always on point and on time, thanks to mr. Amos, supervior on my floor for his follow-up to make the room ready before we finish our daily session, my colleague in 536 as well testify on this. The housekeeping are always ready to assist. Would surly visit again with my family this time.

The outside bar

Bathroom/ shower stall are in bad need of repair, maintenance and definitely an upgrade. Carpets in hallway and rooms to be replaced and removed immediately.

The water pressure was great in the shower. They left plenty of bottled water in the room for drinking and to safety brush my teeth.

I arrived at 8.30pm and was asked to wait 30mins while they made up a room. This is despite check-in opening at 3pm. At nearly 10pm I had to demand I was given a key as I was nearly asleep in the lobby.

Old and drab hotel. Poor lighting in the rooms. If you are prone to allergies, this hotel is not for you. They have old carpets that don’t seem to be cleaned regularly. Got major allergies just 30mins after entering my room. Efforts to get an alternative room were treated with indifference. Front desk staff don’t work as a team- inconsistent messaging on check out times and erroneous billing. Called housekeeping four times to get towels. Each time phone was answered rudely with the receiver claiming the towels had been delivered.

Usually I do not stay in an established brand hotel. The hotel offered us a corporate rate and we really enjoyed the stay. The room is great. The refurbished Italian restaurant serves yummy and large portion dishes. I wish the coffee and buffet menu could taste better but they are ok. The shower water temperature and pressure are great. You can hear sound from neighbor rooms but they did not bother too much. I will definitely come back.
