The room was soooooo quirky. The furnishings for one that just loves antiques and antique accessories was exceptional, the velvet curtains, the huge clawed footed bath, the marble fire place in the bathroom.....silk privacy screens, walking through the bathroom to get to your lovely room, that was a giggle. And the history lining every wall, the beautiful dining room and delicious breakfasts, it was really a wonderful experience. Then you step outside into the real World, a beautiful park across the road and cafes radiating from the centre, full of young people as there are several Universities in Lyon. We explored everything by foot with ease. A delightful experience indeed

I had a very large room with a large bathroom, which contained a separate shower and tub. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds. I had ever slept on. The staff was so helpful and recommended restaurants in the area.
