Ghost Mountain Inn

wir verbrachten 2 Nächte im Hotel und haben die Lage, die Ausstattung und die persönliche Atmosphäre gut genießen können. Besonders gefallen hat uns der Bar / Restaurantbereich in der Nähe des Pools mit Blick auf den weiten Garten. Das Personal war freundlich und das Essen gut, a la carte besser als das Buffet. Das Angebot an Aktivitäten wird gut präsentiert. Wir waren als Selbstfahrer im nahegelegenen Reserve uMkhuze und wurden persönlich eingewiesen vom Personal, welche Route sinnvoll ist, um gute Tierbeobachtungen zu haben. Wir würden das Hotel wieder besuchen.

We used ghost mountain as a base for 3 nights and we found it very comfortable. It's a great position to visit game parks, Jozini lake, St Lucia and areas. Jean, guest relations booked us on one of their tours. We choose a boat trip on Jazini lake which was wonderfull. She was very helpful in all aspects. The manager of the hotel was great and most helpful too. Staff were friendly and efficient. The Restaurant was pleasant and the kitchren was most helpful with my dietary requirements. Would certainly recommend the hotel.

Ghost Mountain Inn is a very nice place for a good value. The outside area - restaurant, bar and garden is really nice and for this I can give five rate without doubts. The only problem was the room which was not as nice - low standard and it was not clean (eg. killed mosquiteos on the walls). Except this very nice experience and I wish we stay longer enjoying food in the restauant and the garden outside with a lot of activities provided as well.

The location of the hotel is to die for. You didn't want to go and leave it for very long. Staff very friendly and helpful,. The only downside to where we stayed was the bathrooms/windows are in desperate need of replacing as there is a lot of cleaning that wants doing to maintain them in that condition and our cleaner lady certainly wasn't very good. Don't know if Shaun the manager who was professional and friendly has a housekeeper but would recommend one to oversee the women. The food was lovely, the staff helpful and friendly the location fabulous. A very enjoyable time had while staying there. Regards also to Jean the guide who took us on safari, excellent person.

Hotel was excellent, staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely evening meal and breakfast. There was a group staying at the hotel so we also got to see some Zulu dancing during dinner. The gardens are great for children to run about and there is a boardwalk out on to the lake. This has beautiful views over to Ghost Mountain and was really romantic when the sun was setting. We only stayed one night but there did seem to be several activities available in the area. Hotel is very easy to find and would definitely stay there again if I am lucky enough to get back to the area!

I booked (and paid extra for) a Superior King Room with a King bed. We arrived to find two twin beds pushed together .... I could have paid much less for that room. So when I questioned it we were moved down the hall to a King bed. This room had massive mold growth above the shower. Eh ... overall the experience was fine. Was expecting a little more for the money. This place is in the middle of nowhere and is just fine for a stopover from Kruger to Durban. But I wouldn't make it a destination.

The stay was great but I was unhappy about being charged the normal rates even though there was a special for the weekend I was staying at the hotel.

Hotel was very good and we had a great boat trip and saw lots of elephants close up. The game drive was short of animals probably because of the heat and long grass.

Locatie was niet top, ligt tussen diverse game parken in , maar het hotel, de service alles is geeweldig
