Appreciate that all hotels in this area seem to be quite expensive, but was still disappointed considering the price we paid (stayed in 8 hotels all across SA and this was second most expensive - No. 1 was 5* Luxury Hotel). Initially put off by poor reception service, not very friendly. The room was much below the standard that we were getting across the rest of SA for much cheaper. Very basic room and looked dated. Bathroom was not pleasant at all. There was a door connecting our room to next door and we could hear everything that was being said - this was possibly due to thin walls rather than the door. Breakfast and breakfast service was good. The bar area was nice as was the main lobby of the hotel, but certainly wouldn't pay the price we paid again for this hotel. That said, it was cheapest we could find in the area, so for stopovers, it serves a purpose. Also, be prepared that there's nothing in the area and once at the hotel, you're essentially stuck there.
Have stopped at the hotel previously but it gets better every time you stop.
