Hotel Villa Blu Capri

Superb hotel. Immaculately clean, value for money on anacapri. Very attentive staff. Loved the white and blue interior. Pool amazing too. Breakfast was the best I’d ever had in any hotel world wide. Highly recommend

Bad food. Turistic menu. Pizza not good. Was cold and bad. The lemon for juice was use many time I thing. Price was very expensive for this food. Way they push me to write 200 caracters. ?????????????????. Please be carrefull for your choice.

Rooms were clean, the rest of the hotel was in poor condition. Staff were friendly but not transparent about the faultiness of the property and that amenities (pool, sauna, steam room) were not clean nor in operation for quite some time.

None of the amenities advertised as offered were in operation for quite some time, nor were they clean. Lobby, and lower floor had a very bad stench. Staff was not transparent about the condition of the hotel and it’s cleanliness, nor the non operation of the amenties and condition of them.

We have a room reserved and they are saying we have to do a wire transfer for anything over $500. Is that right? We have given a credit card. I am skeptical to wire money internationally. Has anyone had this happen? We don’t know whether this is a scammer

A paradise corner of the earth so loved by the Roman emperors and now we have the opportunity to touch it. Arrive in Capri, take a cab (30 euros) or a bus (5 euros) and in 15 minutes you will be at the top of the island of Anacapri. A bus or cab will take you to Vittoria Square and from there you will reach the 5 star Hotel Villa Blue Capri (on the left side) in 2-3 minutes along the very romantic Via Giuseppe Orlandi. My wife and I were greeted by Annalaura and her colleague Rossella, served delicious coffee, checked in within 5 minutes and were escorted to a very quiet room (we had asked the hotel for this at the time of booking). We were hungry and the hotel offered us a delicious and very nicely decorated lunch in original dishes. We sat on a small terrace in front of the hotel and tourists from all over the world passed in front of us. The world, in itself, is a big place and there are not very many paradisiacal places. Capri and Anacapri are one of a kind ... The hotel is very convenient and close to both the sights of Anacapri and the bus or cab stop to get down to Capri. The next morning a sumptuous buffet with very high quality, fresh and competently selected products was waiting for us. Compliments to the restaurant chef for the gastronomically delicious and healthy breakfast. We really didn't want to leave a beautiful place and professional and kind people. If we understood correctly, the hotel (like many hotels in this place) is open only in season, from the beginning of April to the end of October.

We stayed at Hotel Villa Blu Capri a few days ago for a long weekend 9/26-9-29.2024 we had reserved a suite capri con roof top vista mare was printed on our reservation at a cost of 3,744.33 US dollars including tax. For this price point we received a subterranean room 106 . It measured 14 x 12 feet with a bed a tiny table and a refrigerator . This suite opened up to basement level that after climbing 4-5 stairs you were looking at the pool and the entrance to the wait staff entry to the Kitchen. Where every waiters that walked by would glance in as it could not be helped and the kitchen staff is working with their door open so along with the club music the pool plays loudly you also get to experience and hear the daily conversation of kitchen staff. This location was absolutely not what we booked. When asked where the hot tub outside area that we were sold was . We were then walked out of the room down the hall and up an elevator to the rooftop , back down another hall and to our surprise they hung another room number of 106 outside a makeshift partitioned room on the roof. The rooftop space was split into 3 different partitions and unbelievably one area (in the back next to the hotels areas of supplies were there were was not a view except other roofs and this was actually unbelievably labeled as part of our suite . This is such a misrepresentation of the room that was sold to us. If you check the prior reviews from 2023 it is clearly documented that it smells like mold which it still currently does. Also in 2023 they said the rooms were tiny and they absolutely are. No one wants to climb a staircase in their room to the bathroom . No one wants a basement room that smells like mold and no one wants to be mislead with an outside area that’s not even on the same floor. Your staff is very efficient and friendly . This lies on the person marketing your property . They should be fired as you are selling and misrepresenting your space . When we asked if we could cancel our reservation so that we can stay at another hotel that had normal rooms with a bathroom on same level etc. we were then denied a refund and we were stuck for the weekend. We stay in a lot of hotels all over the globe and never have we had such a misrepresentation of a room . You should have let us cancel and move on and you should be honest with your space.
