Hideaways Exuma

Great location, good value, and overall was what was expected.

Scratches resistant pan for cooking breakfast was really scuffed and scraped likely due to only providing a big metal spatula for previous guests. That coating is a health risk so would be nice to get rid of items after they’re past their useful life.

l'hôtel est plutôt bien placer même si sans voiture c'est compliqué de pouvoir se déplacer. La vue avec la piscine de l'hôtel et la plage juste a coté c'est super. Le personnel était vraiment super sympa. On a pu déposer nos valises et se changer à l'hôtel bien avant le check in.

On nous avez dit que la chambre été vue mer mais pas du tout. Les logements ne sont pas vraiment la ou y'a la piscine il faut marché pour arriver ou centre de l'hôtel. Ca reste raisonnable mais a faire attention lors de la réservation. Le restaurant de l'hôtel est vraiment pas ouf. On a attendu presque 1 heure pour avoir nos plat, pour ce qui est du petit déjeuner lorsqu'on voulait commander la dame nous a dit qui n'y avait plus certain ingrédients sachant qu'on est arriver à l'ouverture.

We stayed 4 nights at Hideaways in Exuma and absolutely loved it. We were in an ocean-side, garden cottage, which was more like a small house. It really became our home-away-from home. The cottages are arranged like a small village, with magical lighted pathways between them. Each has their own front porch, where many guests choose to hang out and chill, some even barbecuing! The cottage is full appointed, and has a coffee maker with coffee supplied. The on-site restaurant had tons of options and was absolutely hopping the first night we went--although it took an hour to get our food, it was tasty when we got it. We also went for breakfast the next morning and enjoyed it. Hideaways has it's own small, private beach, with various water activities like paddleboards and kayaks. We didn't partake although we did sit out on their lounge chairs. It's also a very short walk to the stunning Jolly Hall beach, which is where we went for our proper beach day. Hideaways is also a short walk to the Fish Fry, with a variety of restaurants, and neighbouring hotels with dining options as well. There is also a free shuttle into George Town, where we bought some groceries to have in our cottage. What makes Hideaways so special is the community vibe--it really feels like you are staying with family. The people are amazing and the fellow guests all have that relaxed "we have a secret" vibe. And the secret is how amazing Hideaways is.

O hotel conta com um bom restaurante, o que é muito útil em Exuma, pois não há muita disponibilidade de restaurantes. O quarto é espaçoso, confortável e possui uma cozinha completa. O hotel disponibiliza transfer gratuito para George Town.

O estacionamento fica no outro lado da rua, e era muito difícil conseguir vaga a noite. O ralo da banheira não escoava a água adequadamente. A limpeza do quarto demanda um aviso prévio de 1 dia para o staff.

The villa is perfectly situated right in front of the beach, offering breathtaking views that make your stay truly special. The property was very clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed in the room for a comfortable stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with anything. Overall, a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the surroundings — highly recommended!
