Property and service excellent. Location also very good. A little bit worn out from inside, but nothing critical. Fairly clean as well.

El hotel es céntrico a unos 30min andando. El desayuno es muy completo y aún teniendo que salir antes para el vuelo nos dejaron listo un buffet reducido para no perderlo a las 6 am. Las piscinas y el spa están muy agusto, lo único malo es que el jacuzzi no tenía chorros potentes. El parking gratuito una maravilla y en las tres noches no tuvimos problemas en aparcar. Esperando un poco se liberaba si estaba completo

Excellent place to stay. Great breakfast and great location. Rooms were clean and employees were very pleasant.

This hotel is fabulous! It was spotlessly clean, all the staff were so friendly and helpful at all times. No matter what time of day, I could always get a sunlounger and parasol. The rattan & the blue & white lounges weren’t as comfortable as the cream ones around the pool . There are 3 areas for sunbathing and there were always loads of beds free at any time of day , we spent our time on the roof & had it all to ourselves mostly. The location was perfect & the bus was across the road to go into Funchal. There are some many restaurants to choose from , but not a lot of snack places unless you go into town . We found one snack place just a short walk away that was amazing ( lido tavern ) The breakfast was great & plenty to choose from , the omelettes were delicious. The rooms were great & had everything you need , if I was going to be picky a dust pan & brush would have been handy.

We stayed at this hotel mid June for 10 nights and would happily stay again. The hotel has a great location, it's a 30 - 40 walk to the center of Funchal but there is a bus stop right outside and it's near several supermarkets, tour operators and great restaurants. we were worried the pool was small, however it was just right when we stayed, there were plenty of sunbeds and no 6am sunbed warriors so you could still get a pool side ned up to around 11am! Also due to the orientation of the hotel, you get the sun all day (in June at least) and could still sunbathe up to 7/8 o'clock at night which I have never experience before. It's not a deep pool but perfect for the hotel. The pool bar also boasts great views, food and drink. The room was great, spacious and clean and we were lucky to get a sea view upgrade and it really made the holiday to wake up to that view every morning. They also offer a great idea where you can choose how often to get the room cleaned and for everyday you don't you get 3 EUR back, we opted for every other day and got 15 EUR bar credit. More places should offer this. Finally breakfast was also great, standard buffet style, but plenty of choice and always hot and well stocked and staff were really on top of the cleaning so never had a problem getting a clean table. Overall 10 out of 10, would recommend, and look forward to coming back. 😁

Die Zeit, die wir in diesem Hotel verbringen durften war wundervoll. Das Personal liest einem jeden Wunsch von den Lippen ab, das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen, punkto Sauberkeit, hätte ich mich sogar getraut, vom Boden zu essen. Wenn ich nocheinmal die Gelegenheit haben werde nach Funchal zu reisen, werde ich ganz sicher in dieses Hotel gehen. Herzlichen Dank für diese Wundervolle Zeit

Gut gelegenes Hotel mit toller Aussicht. Große, saubere Zimmer mit kleinem Balkon. Viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Sehr freundliche und kompetente Mitarbeiter. Gemütliche Pool-Bar mit abendlicher Live-Sängerin (sehr gut!) und durchschnittlichen Getränken. Besonderer Tipp: Steakhaus La vaca negra, direkt hinter dem Hotel. Sensationell gute Steaks und sehr freundliche Atmosphäre - unbedingt reservieren, da sonst lange Wartezeiten selbst mit 1-2 Personen. Take away möglich.

Jeg var på ferie med mine store børn. Alle omkring os var venlige og servicemindet. Dejlige værelser og god morgenmad.
