"We will stay here again was awesome"

The room was very clean, For the price it was Excellent. The Staff where awesome and accommodating. The Breakfast was ok maybe a few pastry would have been a good finish.

The room was bright and fresh and clean the bed was comfortable. The bathrrom could have had a shower cap as it had a rain shower which is really hard to keep hair dry.

Very clean and comfortable stay, love the building and how well it's been preserved. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Looking forward to staying here again sometime soon :)

Breakfast was good, hotel was gorgeous if you like art deco. Upstairs rest areas were great.

Room was a bit small, and no place to hang anything apart from behind the door.

A short stroll proximity to the Train Station and the Town, a Cheerful Welcome upon Check-in, the Historical/Heritage aspects/style of the 'Comfortable to Stay at' Hotel, both inside and out - came the morning an ample nutritious breakfast to get one's awaiting unhurried day underway...

No time to notice, Nothing apparent - I was well Satisfied both in my any expectation and the reality of my while at 'Metropole Katoomba'...

"Old world charm and great value for money"

The charm of this building is second to none - such gorgeous communal spaces. We were able to bring guests for a game of pool and cards, we relaxed in the library one cold night with the electric fire, and explored all the books & crannies on both levels. Stunning. And right near the train station!

On the first night the hot water was inconsistent - if it kept going and we stayed more than a few nights it would have been frustrating but by the second day it was fine.
