Hotel Amazon Bed And Breakfast

The location of the hotel is right outside the busier downtown of Leticia. It is walkable to the markets and main areas. There are multiple great restaurants int he area and a great restaurant in the hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We felt like it was a little oasis in the amazon. Loved our hammock in the all season room.

It’s a beautiful property. Large rooms with a hammock in the front part. Amazingly beautiful surroundings in the garden. Very close to the restaurants, bars and the park Santander. Also to the boats for puerto Narino. The owner is really nice and speaks English as well. Great breakfast!

Feels like a calm and cozy oasis in the midst of the hubbub of Leticia. The proprietress is a true gem, who clearly pours her heart into the place. It was a bonus that she speaks/understands a fair amount of English. The room was spotless, the AC worked well and enough covered the background sounds of town. The compound grounds are lovely with private places to sit. It's in a great location where if felt safe enough and easy to walk to the business district. The restaurant area is lovely and the food was really good, some of the better we had in Colombia. The breakfast was especially wonderful. Definitely would stay again and recommend to friends.

We opted to stay in the cheaper front rooms, which were just fine with all we needed, but didn't have windows at ground level and had fairly thin doors. I wish I'd opted for one of the back rooms, which have large windows, private indoor hammocks and more. I could hear some street noise in the evening, but suspect that would be the case most anywhere in Leticia.

The staff was very friendly. The hotel is centrally located, a block from the main square and four blocks to main business area, all very walkable. Renovations are being done on the property. New paint cans are stacked up and some roofing repairs are being done.

Near the front entrance are three lounge chairs which are comfortable for resting but there is a strong smell of cat urine.
