The Wilmington Inn

I just finished a Plein air workshop Mary Padgett. This is the second year it was held at the wonderful Wilmington Inn. The hosts Charlie and Megan, fed us, brought us lunch on site, offered us cocktails during our critiques, and were over and above taking care of us, rain or shine! I hope this is held at the Inn in 2026 because I will definitely come again. Mary Padgett is an excellent teacher and it is to the credit of the inn keepers, that they book her to teach.

Our stay was perfect and we couldn’t have been happier. Charlie, Megan & Alexa were so friendly and incredibly accommodating. The food was delicious and the vibes were cozy. We had our family reunion there and Charlie & Megan went out of their way to make sure our stay was fantastic. The town of Wilmington is so cute & the inn is in the perfect location - walking distance or a quick drive from everything you need. Thank you for a great stay!

Perfect little hotel

Right in downtown Wilmington - easy to find, yet hidden away. Shops and dining in easy walking distance. Nice firepit outside residence. Charlie was friendly and welcoming during check in.

We would absolutely stay at the Wilmington Inn again – spotlessly clean, well-appointed, and friendly, welcoming innkeepers Charlie and Megan. They offered our family a complementary upgrade to a larger room (always welcome when traveling with 2 kids) and offered knowledgeable recommendations for local hikes and places to eat. We've stayed at half-a-dozen Vermont inns/B&Bs over the past few years and the Wilmington Inn is hands-down the best.

Beautiful bed and breakfast with wonderful patio space and common areas in a charming little town. Bed was comfortable and our room had a whirlpool tub. Owners were friendly, helpful and fantastic. Will definitely return when we can spend more time!

I stayed 4 nights at The Wilmington Inn earlier this month … had an absolute fabulous time. Charlie and Megan, the Owners/Hosts, are super welcoming and helpful. Rooms are great … comfy bed, quiet, great bathroom in my suite. Breakfasts are wonderful. Highly recommend this Inn and look forward to returning again in the future.

Vermont is the charm capital of New England and with a stay at the Wilmington Inn, you get to fully appreciate some of that charm in an authentic and warm space. The inn keepers are kind and welcoming and everything you expect in a small town, mountain-adjacent b&b. Airbnb-no thanks. My wife and I will be opting in for the inn experience from now on and that’s thanks to our stay at the Wilmington. You like hiking, swimming, eating great food, and shopping some cool small businesses? Reserve a couple of nights and make it memorable. That won’t be difficult. Thanks for the memories!
