This was our 2nd trip to Wilmington and the Wilmington Inn. The location is perfect for walks to town for dinner as well as access to some trails. Charlie and Megan are hospitality professionals who make sure you enjoy your stay, whether in Wilmington or throughout the Deerfield Valley. Charlie has a bar in the lobby, perfect for a before dinner cocktail or end of the evening night cap. At check in he will share “Charlie’s Map” with you that includes various scenic drives for waterfall hikes and historic covered bridges. You will start your day with one of Megan’s delicious breakfasts (her pancakes are the best!!!) and return in the afternoon to one of her sweet treats. This trip we ventured to Manchester and the historical estate, Hildene, the family home of Robert Todd Lincoln. (Look it up - it’s worth the drive). The town of Manchester offers an afternoon of strolling a quaint New England town and lunch. Both of our trips have been before leaf popping and snow season but I am sure a stay at The Wilmington Inn would be fantastic then too.

We have stayed at this Inn many times, and it never fails to exceed expectations! Charlie and Megan are fantastic hosts, with Megan preparing delicious breakfasts and Charlie working around the clock to keep the place in great shape, as well as to offer suggestions for activities, restaurants, and answering any questions you might have. We could not recommend it more highly!

This was our third visit to the Wilmington Inn, and our stay was just as pleasant as past visits. The inn is nicely situated on the edge of town, within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. Also, nature is just out the door, with a hiking trail literally going through the Inn's property, and the river just across the street. Our Carriage House room was nicely appointed. The breakfasts are fantastic, with lots of choices and tasty food. The hosts couldn't be friendlier or more accommodating, and the ample public spaces allow for both private chats and congenial chats with fellow guests.

10+ on everything. You just need to experience this fantastic inn. You will be extremely happy with everything.

I was met with a warm welcome, and an informative tour of the Inn. Charlie was fantastic, offering any help he could. I stayed in the Deerfield, and it was cozy, beautiful views and quiet. I will definitely be back and will likely be a staple in my work travel.

Chris and Meghan run my favorite Inn! The Wilmington is our go to every year when we attend The Marlboro Musici Festival. From effortless booking and check-in, they make the whole experience fun. Breakfast with Alexa is always a please. Can't wait til next year!

This was the second time that my husband and I stayed at the Wilmington Inn and that I’ve participated in an art workshop organized at and by the Owners and Hosts of the Inn, Charlie and Megan. Charlie and Megan are outstanding hosts. Charlie and Megan organized the logistics of our annual art seminar led by outstanding Artist and Teacher, Mary Padgett. Megan is an outstanding chef and provided a 5 star breakfast menu. The Inn is an historic building. Each evening a fire was prepared in the fire pit on the grounds. Their garden and grounds are well kept with both flowers and vegetables. The rooms are clean, warmly furnished and arranged so that there is privacy as well as excellent access to early morning coffee as well as common areas. We look forward to return visits! A.Skolnick
