GBGreat stay in Bath! The location was excellent, very close to the city centre yet peaceful and relaxing. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and we really appreciated being allowed an early check-in. Breakfast was good, and overall the experience was very enjoyable. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

GBGBI thought the breakfast was very generous and cleverly managed. I also liked that the tea, coffee and milk and sugar sachets and packets of biscuits in the room were replenished every day. I liked the view out of the window and the old mill wheel which was an interesting feature.

Too little parking. Too narrow. Terrible WiFi The staff were not particularly service-minded. The permanent sign that the hotel was short-staffed was not the best advert. Limited choice of breakfast. Our room was noisy from the traffic noise. The hotel is generally run down.

Upon arrival, we found several issues that significantly affected our stay, including: * Dirty and unclean floors that appeared not to have been properly cleaned for a considerable period of time. * A broken/cracked window. * Wood rot on the bathroom floor. * Stained and chipped toilet seat. * Broken curtains. * A stained and dirty sink. * Bed side lighting not working correctly. * Flat, lumpy pillows that were uncomfortable to sleep on. * A dressing table chair that was heavily stained and had an unpleasant smell. * A defective shower, making it extremely difficult to regulate the water temperature, which fluctuated between being too hot and too cold. Tried to resolve the issue before leaving negative feedback by sending various emails but we have been ignored!

Breakfast very basic On arrival , greeted curtly that we were too early to check in.it was 14.20 , which we accepted it was before 15.00 but a welcoming approach after a long journey would have been friendlier. Disappointed with the dismissive attitude of some of the staff. Guy who repaired shower was great.
