Hotel Bon Voyage

I stayed here for almost a week and the staff, food and rooms were perfect compared to other hotels I stayed at. I felt you get more for your money here, the food was fresh prepared, the prices were fair, the staff is very helpful. The room was always clean, the only complaint is the gym was old and almost in it was broken or outdated.

I am usually very easy to please but my experience at this hotel was beyond deplorable. I arrived at the hotel around 4pm to check in and it took almost 1.5-2hrs for my room to be ready. On arrival to my room, the ac was leaking water and spitting out chunks of ice on the floor. I went to the reception and complained, requesting for another room. The lady at the reception said maybe the ac needs defrosting and that they will try to fix it. I insisted that I will not stay in that room and needed another room. After waiting for another 30 minutes, they said they can give me another room. When I arrived at the room, I noticed there were 2 yellow rust stains on the duvet/comforter. I was already so hungry and tired because of many hours of travel. I opened the folder on the table nearby to check for room service and a roach jumps out. The attendant who brought my luggage was still in the room and he went on the smash the roach with his bare hand :(. I was done after that and said I could not stay in that room and went back to the reception, explaining what happened and that I will be going to another hotel. The new lady at the reception pleaded with me and said she will get me another room which she did. The new room was actually ok but the fridge was not working and it did not have hot water in the shower. I was already exhausted and hungry and just decided to manage the room for the night. Never staying there again.

My husband and I stayed here our first night together. This will always be our favorite place. The staff is so accommodating and kind. The food for breakfast is awesome. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. Just love this place. JRS 💗

I really like the hotel very clean and well kept. The staff are friendly and know their business. Only problem I have is the hot water is not hot only luke warm. Needs to be improved.

Older Hotel, but nice,comfortable and clean.

I like the location in a secured and safe environment. Disliked the shower to tight and door was damaged.

Rooms are great, fod is outstanding and location is awesome! Staff is very professional but doesn't seem to smile. Didn't feel the Lagocian friendliness that I am used to. Have stayed here before and will stay again. Would be perfect if they were friendlier!

The things advertised is misleading. There was no travelers office available, Whats offered as amenities was not given had to beg for two towels each day missed breakfast because it states till 1030 and it ended earlier. the hair salon opened whenever i was unable to get pampered like i had planned for, The facilities was not kept up the pool lots of floor tiles missing lighting in the evening was poor . The first room air conditioner broken bugs behind closet had to get moved to another room .I booked a standard queen bed recirved a doublr bed . I was very dissapointed and everything on the menu was not available if it wasnt because i paid in full through Expedia i would had left but they claimed i couldnt get refunded.

The hotel is located in the ritzy part of town with easy access to restaurants, bars and shopping malls. There's a beautifully manicured courtyard, and the pool has a wonderful Sea view. There's a bar at the pool and a DJ plays a wonderful nix of music in the evenings. The restaurant has a wonderful selection of western and local dishes and all the staff members are very friendly. The hotel has a travel agency on site to help organize trips to other parts of Africa and the rest of the world. I stayed in a deluxe room with a very comfortable bed and all the features you would expect to find in a 4 star hotel, including a safe in the room, cable TV with plenty of channels, decent speed WiFi, a well stocked bathroom, etc. I really enjoyed staying here and highly recommend it. I would definitely stay there again!

Save your money!!! The grounds of the hotel is about the most decent part of the hotel...nice Afrocentric decor, with a decent sea view; but the rooms are not much to write home about. The decor, bland; sheets, threadbare and even torn; furnishing, poor. It just wasn’t work the money, certainly won’t be coming here again
