Alba Glasgow

I have felt like I was I some sort of third world country it that place,I have been in many hostels ,but this one was the most AWEFUL one in so many ways!

Cons: They put me in an 8 bed dorm even though I booked a 6 bed They roomed me with 7 boys - I was the only girl The bed was uncomfortable - you can feel the springs Area is somewhat far from city centre Pros: Bathroom was really nice and clean

It's as good as any other hostel, you get what you expect

Rigtig rart - der var roligt, og medarbejderne var flinke. Hostellet er let at komme til med bus og tog. Jeg ville gerne bo der en anden gang. P.s Glasgow er dejlig!

It was a bit away from the city centre, but it was cozy and staff were friendly. It kinda felt like being at home for a day.

We booked this because we needed a night in Glasgow and this about the only free room in the city that cost less than several hundred at that date. Exceeded expectations.

Ich habe 6 Nächte dort verbracht, bei meiner Ankunft war das WC gesäubert worden, aber erst nach Aufforderung wurde es nach 5 Tagen erneut gereinigt (Fußböden und Ablagen wurden gar nicht gereinigt). Die öffentliche Küche stank stark nach Schimmel, dies sollte durch permanentes Lüften vertuscht werden. Das Personal war mehr an jungen weiblichen Gästen interessiert, als am Service und das English aller war gewöhnungsbedürftig bis ungenügend. Häufig war die Rezeption nicht besetzt zu Dienstzeiten. Im 6 Bettzimmer waren nur 4 abschließbare Schränke vorhanden....gestohlen wurde mir nichts, wohl aber einem anderen Gast. Zusammengefasst zum Schlafen an 2 Abenden bei einem kurzen Besuch in Glasgow ist es gut eingerichtet, relativ sauber und gut ausgestattet. Bei längerem Aufenthalt eher nicht empfehlenswert.

Alba Hostel is a nice place to stay, the relation betwen price and quality is extremly good, just one bad point if you are planning to go walking to the city center, probably you will need to think about it. For the the service and the quality of the hotel is very good.

スタッフがとてもフレンドリーで楽しく過ごす事が出来ました。衛生面も問題なし。グラスゴー中心部から離れているので、アクセス面では不便かも。
