Brunton Boatyard - Cgh Earth

We stayed at the Brunton Boatyard in Kochi on our 4 day trip.The experience was amazing. The hotel is located on the waterfront. We stayed in the sea facing suite which was huge. The colonial style architecture created a lovely ambience. The location is very convenient to explore the Fort Kochi area. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and always attentive to every need. While some of the reviews have mentioned about the noise from the ferry we did not find it disturbing though our room was located closer to the ferry. The Armory had some good choices including local cuisine. The complementary breakfast was excellent. It did take time though as it was made to order. We liked the complementary afternoon tea with cakes as well. We had a great stay and hope to be back some day.

Beautiful property with amazing staff! We were so comfortable in the monsoon.. it was the perfect getaway!! The food was great, especially breakfast!!

We had a wonderful stay here and was a great end to our India holiday. The staff from the beginning were excellent, Jasmine on the front counter ensured we were happy and made it a point to ask us every morning. The staff at the Armoury restaurant we fantastic food was great and we will miss the breakfasts. We will visit again on our next trip to India.

Generally I'm not a person who's easily overwhelmed,but the experience of my stay in Brunton boatyard truly made me speechless. The ambience, the staff, the rich Dutch architecture they maintained, the hospitality was truly fantastic. It was one of our unplanned trips. We went without a booking and were welcomed wholeheartedly. The lady with a bright smile Jasmine arranged a nice sea view room for us prior to the check in time. She was with us during our stay, catering our every need. She's very attentive to other guests also. A gentleman called Arun and Neha, another young lady are also very cooperative. Arun arranged a history walk for me and a tuk tuk ride for us to visit the local places. The driver Saneesh was a nice guy who acted as our tour guide. The culinary experience was also overwhelming. We were lucky to experience the arrival of monsoon here. It was truly amazing. The stay at Brunton boatyard was really memorable for us. (Sumana Ganguly)

Quaint colonial ambience with history preserved and every detail looked into.loved the old world furniture including the bath tub with the ventilation windows. Comfortable beds and even ear plugs provided for the disturbance of fog horns of passing boats The history walk and sunsetboat ride with background explanation of history was amazing. The complimentary high tea we tried on day 1 was lovely The breakfast on both mornings was lovely and staff at the Armoury amazing. The baked goodies were so fresh and made by an experienced hand. The dinner was ok , had expected more , but the parathas were too thick and the cafreal not the best I have eaten… the stuffed rice pancakes also were ok but not outstanding. Swimming pool is temperature controlled and absolute delight without burning chlorine eyes. Staff especially Arun, Sanjay were really helpful.

Had a fantastic time here. A serene atmosphere. The place oozes with colonial charm. The staff were attentive , welcoming and friendly. The food was great. Their Thali was exceptional . They catered to our elderly parent’s all needs. We took the paid Tuktuk ride which is highly recommended. The complimentary boat ride in the evening was worth it. Would definitely return.

Stunning building by the busy Arabian Sea. 5 star food and beautiful rooms. We stayed for 2 nights and we were treated like VIPs which made us feel very special. The hotel is located in the old Kochin town where walking to all the amenities is very accessible.

A good place to stay if you are visiting Fort Kochi.

This hotel is a classic design and beautifully decorated. You feel like it should be in a movie. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the includes breakfast was made to order. Beautiful views over the harbor and wonderful large swimming pool surrounded by immaculate grounds. The rooms were very comfortable and well appointed.
