Candlewood Suites Fort Stockton by IHG

The only thing I think they could do differently is offer more for breakfast. Especially for people with children .

Amazingly clean room and customer service

Room was comfortable but the parking is poor. According to the desk clerk they provide a security company with license plate info and they parking lot is purged of any vehicles not on the list. Your vehicle make, model, color and state isn't enough. After driving 12 hours, I wasn't thrilled about going back to the furthest corner of the parking lot to get my plate number. Unlike most extended stays they don't offer breakfast.

Thanks to Rosemary Trevino for your help and concern. We were booked on the third floor. There was problem with the elevator while my daughter-in-law was getting on. The General Manager, Rosemary moved us tot h first floor. Then on top of that, she comped the room because of our trouble. That was unnecessary but appreciated. They also checked on us later to make sure we were comfortable.

Had to make a last minute run to Az via I10 and this hotel takes pets for $50. They have some nice grass for pets. Hotel keeps up the general areas well. Our room had either a musty or smokey smell (unpleasant) being masked by blasting the AC which took it to an average hotel status as I’m sensitive to that. It was clean, nothing exceptional. Fine for a one night stop over.

needed a place to sleep and Candlewood suites was next door to the Fairfield. We stopped at the Fairfield and the night clerk had rooms, but couldn't figure out how to work the computer to get us checked in, so went to the Candlewood. The night clerk there was exceptionally nice and helpful. Got a nice clean room and everything was fine except the bed was not right. That is the main reason for a hotel and therefore a "3"

I stayed there with my pregnant wife, 1yr 1/2 old child, and two friends who stayed in a different room and were so happy with the service and room. We stayed to go to Big Bend National Park and we loved the first day that they had a kitchen along with a dishwasher, sink, and refrigerator. We we were coming back from Big Bend the second day when we hit a deer and totaled my car and had my wife and child taken to a hospital. We had PD take help take us back to our hotel. The hotel was so understanding and helped us stay in the hotel to find a way home and also took me to the impound lot where my car was taken to get all of my belongings. I cannot say how much they helped us out and was in tears with the help and understanding that they showed my family and me with the tragedy. They helped us out when we needed help and I cannot thank them enough. Along with the room the showed us compassion and help. Thank you from the bottom of my heart that you helped us out.

Visited at the end of February. I got there around 3 something and there was a child hang on to their mother, she was working there, the child was unruly and was very distracting. I had to go back later and check in. Stop taking your children to work. It’s not professional. I don’t know of any hotel that will be liable if anything happened to that child. So irresponsible.

Hotel.com charged me and the hotel charged me, then refunded me then charged me for someone else's room. And why view a room if it's not the room your gonna get. People were nice. Everything else was horrible. Will never do hotel.com again.

I’d called and had been ok’d to check in at 1:30 or 2:00 PM. I arrived at 3:00PM and was told they had rooms ready but I couldn’t have one because they’d been reserved to customers that hadn’t showed up yet. I told them I had a wedding to attend in an hour and needed to get dressed. Almost 25 minutes after the normal 3:00PM check in time, I was finally allowed to check in. The room was clean but some of the furniture was in bad condition.
