Candlewood Suites Fort Stockton by IHG

Got shocked twice faulty electrical. clock wasn't plugged in shocked when I tried to plug it in. Bed lamp same thing. Hence no clock nor bed lamp. Candlewood said to contact you for refund.

The staff was uncertain on what rooms were available and what were not. One of the staff tried to enter our room stating they forgot that they had assigned the room.

No breakfast and feral cats outside.

I booked 2 rooms. When I got there the person at the desk said I only booked 1 room , I showed her my confirmation email , she said she didn’t care . I should not book through a third party site and she was booked . After about an hour of calling around and arguing with desk person. She mysteriously found my 2nd room, but it had to be cleaned.. so an hour later the room was ready (at 1:30 am). Once we got to rooms they were very dated, and definitely not very clean. A/c was very loud and didn’t work. The next morning when checking out we asked for a copy of recite and was told “no when you book with 3rd party we are not giving you anything, we don’t like 3rd party booking.” Avoid this place and it’s rude employees! They are very overpriced for what you get . This place way 50$ a night higher than others in area. And also no breakfast.

the shower was difficult to operate. never was able to turn on the showerhead to the shower.

Comfortable and pleasant petsonn

Property is very old. A can of paint does not hide that fact. The only reason I chose this hotel was for the complete kitchen facilities. Because of Covid we are making our own meals. I needed a full size refrigerator to hold all my supplies. Would probably not stay here again.

Unfriendly staff, there are signs all over telling you no they don't do this, no they don't do that, breakfast. Cleaning everyday etc. The place is old and run-down. Don't recommend it at all.
