The staff were very helpful and perhaps due to the whole of staff tipping box did not over service. The food was excellent. Beautiful architecture and interior design.

Le charme de l’ancien, les patios végétalités, la chambre spacieuse et son lit à baldaquin. Démarche écologique remarquable. L’accès à la piscine du palais de Mahé et la possibilité de s’y faire masser.

Les chambres sont au prix de celles d’un palace sans en offrir les prestations. Petit déjeuner quelconque, service sans raffinement. Salle de bain sommaire. Il est évident que l’on paye pour la réputation du lieu, pas pour la qualité de l’établissement.

The property is a renovated French-style villa with multiple courtyards. Beautiful architecture, the wind flows through and keeps rooms cool - they have good AC also. The restaurant serves great food in the evenings, and they have great arranged tours etc.

Nous avons passé un séjour de rêve dans cet hôtel, petite enclave de sérénité et de calme dans une ville trépidante. L'architecture de l'hôtel est magnifique, portes en bois, clés massives, jeux de lumières à travers les vitres colorées. Le personnel est d'une grande gentillesse, toujours prêt à faire tout ce qu'il faut pour rendre idéal le séjour de leurs hôtes. Ils donnent de très bons conseils pour découvrir la ville. Petit déjeuner excellent. .

If you want to experience life in an original house this is an ideal place. Loved the courtyard and all the original features of the house. The staff are all so friendly and very obliging you get the feeling of living in a home. I have watched Indian movies and I was able to experience life in one of the traditional homes. Loved it
