"Great base from which to explore Pondy!"

Lovely heritage hotel with fabulous lush garden restaurant where food was delicious. Super helpful staff, and lots of activities suggested (in usual fab CGH Earth way). Excellent value for money given some of the Pondy alternatives, but you’re a little outside the French Quarter as a result.

My bathroom was very tiny (I was in room 1), but otherwise everything was good. My room had a four poster bed which would be a challenge for anyone over 5’9” (I’m just about that, and was hitting my feet on the end board). Talk people avoid 4poster bed rooms!

I can't rate Maison Perumal highly enough! The building is beautiful, and our room was wonderful, large, very comfortable, with black-out curtains, and facing into a quiet courtyard filled with plants. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and helped us to organise activities and trips. We participated in a cooking demonstration which was fantastic - and breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were delicious. Thank you!
