Iberostar Selection Anthelia

Last minute booking via Jet 2 to celebrate our 25 wedding anniversary. We arrived late at night due to a delayed flight.The hotel was beautiful. Staff were pleasant and attentive with us being offered a complementary drinks on arrival. although we would have appreciated it being pointed out where we could get some food, as with it being a long day we didn’t realise room service was available. This was realised by us the next day when we’d had some sleep. The room with a garden view was basic for a 5 star but had everything we needed. It was very close to one of the pools which was great. The room was cleaned daily with new towels, face clothes etc being replenished. Our stay was bed and breakfast basis. we were offered an upgrade to half board but decided against this as we like to explore the area. The area the hotel was situated in was great, near the beach and local shops and restaurants A lovely touch much appreciated was on our wedding anniversary while we were out the hotel staff decorated our room and left wine and chocolate coated strawberries for us. It was such a nice surprise for our return. Although I had mentioned our 25 wedding anniversary several times, We really didn’t expect much fuss Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

I'm writing this months after our visit as we have already booked for February 2026. Everything was perfect! We had bed and breakfast as we knew we would be eating out a lot as meeting friends. This was by far the best breakfast I have ever experienced. I could not believe the choice and extremely please seeing healthy and different dietary requirements. Our duplex room was spotless, the reception staff, restaurant staff and bar staff were friendly and very attentive. All amenities, yoga, facilities and entertainment looked great and I'll be making more use of them next year. Unfortunately, I injured myself quite badly taking part in a pool game. This was totally my own fault (I should act my age of 54 and not my shie size of 7!) & spent the last 2 days in a wheelchair with a torn hamstring. The staff could not do enough for me, concern shown, help given and complimentary room service which was greatly appreciated. I repeat that it was my own fault and not that of the hotel. We are so looking forward to next February but I'll be taking part in more suitable activities for my age 🙂.

Overall disappointed with my experience at Anthelia Rooms were in need of an upgrade , no air conditioning for first 3 days as they tried to fix an issue, crack on shower base, stains on floor and bed valance along with a nice army of ants that regularly visited us. Reception staff paid us lip service Bar staff were great at both pool and main bar area breakfast staff though efficient could do with some customer service skills and occasionally crack a smile. Pool beds were probably the only thing that would justify a 5 star rating mat this hotel. Despite advertising a late checkout I was told they couldn’t offer us it Also no courtesy rooms available which is particularly poor in my opinion.

Fantastic holiday. The service was amazing especially from Miriam and Daniela they looked after us so well. Would definitely recommend loved it ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Beautiful resort and views to see! So many things to do whilst here, my little sister loved the kids club!! Mirian was an amazing staff member who treated us with kindness and service was attentive and brilliant! Thanks so much from all other staff with a special mention to daniela as well!

If you are looking for a relaxing holiday in a comfortable, seafront hotel with excellent staff, this is the hotel for you. This gated hotel with beautiful grounds has an excellent location right on the coastal path through Costa Adeje. Our seaview room was comfortable, very clean and regularly restocked with nuts and drinks. The bathroom set up was unusual but worked well. The buffet food was fantastic; very fresh and presented beautifully. There were cooking stations for meat and fish and pasta dishes and the deserts were amazing. The Italian restaurant was excellent, I recommend having a meal or 2 there. The pool area was spacious with plenty of sunbed availability and the seawater pools were lovely and clean. The sunbeds are cushioned and very comfortable. The drinks service around the pool is friendly and frequent. The hotel is decorated in a typically Canarian style with palm trees, earthy tones, terracotta and pretty painted tiles. My only criticism would be that some of the soft furnishings and carpets in the communal areas need replacing. So, if you're looking for an ultra-modern style hotel, this isn't for you. Overall we had a wonderful stay, and, fingers crossed, hope to return for another stay next year!

We’ve just returned home to England after staying at this hotel for 11 days in Mid-October. We’re a family of 4 (parents + 2 in their 20s) and we stayed on half board. I’ll delve into more details below but, in short, we highly recommend this hotel. The grounds are spectacular, the staff are excellent and the food is wonderful. You won’t be disappointed. Food In the Zeus buffet restaurant, the array & variety of food is unbelievable. We found the quality to be excellent and thoroughly enjoyed pretty much everything we ate. The meat/fish stations where they cook to order were fabulous and they were a great opportunity to chat to the chefs, who were all incredibly friendly. Chef Marcos in particular was lovely. The waiting staff were equally awesome - attentive and with a good sense of humour. Thank you to Cesar, Jamile, Alexis & Roger for looking after us. We genuinely looked forward to all of our meals. I am gluten-free and the majority of food was labelled clearly so I had no problems finding suitable food. We didn’t try the other a-la-carte restaurants. Room/Facilities We had side sea view rooms with balconies. They were very comfortable, clean & well maintained. The layout of the bathroom is slightly unusual in that there is no real ‘bathroom’, it’s kind of open-plan. The shower door is frosted, as is the toilet door, so it’s not a huge privacy problem but takes a bit of getting used to. It might be different in other room types. Anyway, kudos to our cleaner, she kept our room beautifully clean. Entertainment We’ve never really stayed at hotels with daytime activities before so we’re unsure whether this would interest us or not. Safe to say, these guys made my holiday. During the course of our 11 days, we took part in numerous art & craft workshops, fitness classes, waterpolo, football, yoga, quizzes and much more. We also attended a few of the evening entertainment shows and these were great fun. Thank you to Katy, Laura and Danny in particular - it was their friendliness that kept us coming back everyday. Management We met Guest Relations Manager, Jordi, many times during our stay. A couple of days before we left, we did experience an isolated incident. When we raised the issue to reception, Jordi attended right away and was swift at investigating and handling the situation. When he found the cause of the problem, he explained this to us and apologised profusely. He was sure to check on us for the remainder of our stay. We enjoyed all our interactions with Jordi, he was very approachable and professional. Tip! Take an empty water bottle or reusable cup. There’s water filters around the hotel for you to refill from - we loved this! Thanks again to the Iberostar Selection Anthelia for a wonderful holiday. We hope to be back again soon.

I stayed here with my husband and two kids (13 and 3) for a week. The first night we had a flood in our room so the hotel upgraded us to all inclusive, changed our rooms and gave us complimentary late checkout. The staff were very friendly and professional and made evert effort to deliver outstanding customer service. The restaurant is by far the best bit of the stay. As someone who has a very serious allergy to gluten, I have to say I have never had such an amazing experience while eating out of my own home. The manager of the restaurant introduced me to the head chef who walked me around the whole floor explaining how and where to find gluten free food (was very straightfoward) the variety of choices of what to eat was fantastic and they even allow you to make "special requests", for example I had a gluten free pizza (fabulous) and they even made me Chinese food!!! (Best part of the whole holiday for me as someone who cant eat normal food) which was a main, a noodle dish and a side of my choice. Thank you to Felix the manager and the head chef!!! You are all amazing!

Had a fantastic week in the hotel. Clean and comfortable with lots of great activities. Pool bar service was very good with a special mention of Mirian - super attentive and always happy and very hard working!!
