Lion Hotel & Studio Apartments

The hotel was situated in the middle of town a short walk to the sea and looking around the area.

The room needed a spruce up, curtains did not fit and were hanging down in place, the bath had mold around the edge also the shower door. There were 2 chairs in the room very uncomfortable and tatty.

Breakfast and breakfast staff good.

Receptionist amd bar staff not very welcoming.

The room was a bit cold once we got there but turned on the heater and got ok

Room was nice and spacious. Parking on street by hotel. Restaurant for dinner and breakfast.

Television did not work. Informed staff. They were short handed also working dinner at the restaurant so they never got around to getting it checked out. Had room one floor above elevator so had some unexpected steps. At breakfast some items ran out and were not restocked while we were there.

Great location

The bar and breakfast service was painfully slow. Many cooked items in the buffet had run out and were not repleished quickly enough leaving guests waiting unreasonably long. In the end, I gave up and made do with what was available.

Friendly helpful staff. Central position. Nice spacious room.

Tepid shower - so wanted a nice shower after a long day but it was too cold, and in the morning it was still roo cold to use.

Staff gave another customer my room key so they could have a shower. My wife was in the process of getting dressed, but luckily heard key in the lock and swiftly got behind the door. Reported this to the hotel staff.

Perfect location for a cycle trip around Wales. Great breakfast and excellent Indian food. Clean and tidy. Recommended.
