Nice beach, tasty food.

Property needs maintenance. Not much to do, no enterntainment. Overall kinda meh… Wouldn’t book again.

We are currently at the Lindos royal and I have to say I’m really disappointed. We came to look around this hotel a few years ago when we were planning to get married in Lindos and it looked so dreamy. Fast forward a few years, we upgraded to a swim up room and were so excited. The swim up room was awful, it was in shade all day and literally was about 2 metres immediately opposite other rooms. It was embarrassing to be so close. We complained and were upgraded to a garden swim up room which was lovely and sunny all day (opposite the children’s pool). 3002. There are no facilities in the room other than a fridge so thankfully we packed cups and a travel kettle. There is no long mirror and no dressing table chair or stool in the room. The hotel has no heated pools so you can’t really use them in October. Cleaning standard was ok but my in laws room wasn’t cleaned well at all and their curtains fell down and it took 3 days and 4 complaints to get it fixed. They had a sea view deluxe suite which was nice but no facilities same as ours. The food is utterly awful. Poor choice, cold, repetitive. Clearly limited choice at this time of year too. Puddings same old every day. Annoyingly you have to be served all drinks at the bar aside from juice so queues for that. The hotel is starting to look run down in places and I just can’t fathom how they were awarded 5*. It’s genuinely is a 3 at best.

Having stayed in many 5* resorts before, this sadly fell well short of expectations. The grounds and scenery are lovely, but that’s where the positives end. The rooms were small, and the bathroom had black mold on the tiles and in the corners of the floor — not something you’d expect in a supposed luxury hotel. We also had to leave deposits for beach towels, which were already stained, apparently from the spa or hair salon. On arrival, we were given only two bottles of water and told to refill them at the bar for the rest of our stay — quite disappointing for an all-inclusive. The à la carte restaurants were another letdown. Although food was included, we had to pay for drinks, which are usually part of the all-inclusive offering elsewhere. The hotel advertised tea and coffee making facilities, but our room had no kettle or cups. After requesting them, the maid removed them the next day, and there was no tea or coffee provided anyway. The sunbeds were old and uncomfortable, with only a few having cushions. If you’re travelling with children and can’t use the adults-only section, be aware that the umbrellas can’t be folded down, so if you want to sunbathe, you’re stuck in the shade all day. The buffet food was often cold unless you arrived right as it opened, and the wine was served in paper cups — again, not what you’d expect from a 5-star resort. The pool bar snacks were another concern — they were left out for hours under heat lamps, completely exposed to flies. There were approximately 5 pools, but only one has a pool bar, so if your at the slides pool for the day, you have to walk a distance to get a drink, there are not enough toilets either, only near the pool bar again, so we had to go back to our room each time. On top of this, we had to pay €15 per room per night as a “5-star tax,” which added up to about £95 extra for our stay. If you were here for two weeks, that’s nearly £200 more on top of what you’ve already paid — and frankly, this hotel is worth no more than 3 stars. I could go on, but in short: don’t be fooled by the 5-star rating. The location is stunning, but the standards, facilities, and service are more in line with a 3-star hotel. Be aware before booking — you’ll be paying 5-star prices for a 3-star experience.

This is by means nowhere near a 5* hotel. After paying good money I was expecting so much more so I’m feeling very disappointed indeed. The staff - extremely rude! I’ll come onto this more in a moment. The food. Very limited, cold and repetitive. We booked into one of the theme restaurants for my dad’s birthday two days ago. The restaurant wasn’t for children in my opinion. My children eat well and aren’t fussy but the menu wasn’t appealing to them. They weren’t happy to make changes so I took my daughter to the all inclusive buffet to get some salad so she could join us with something to eat. The waiter actually told me off and humiliated me in front of the entire restaurant. So rude. I then turned around a few mins later to see this same waiter in an altercation with another guest with another guest shouting “don’t you dare speak to me like that you rude xxxx”. They’re clearly speaking to everyone this way. Another waiter cleared my plate away in the Greek restaurant and asked if we had finished I said “yes thank you I’m not very keen on lamb” as the meze that came out was the starter for the table - we didn’t get a choice and that’s fine but then they can’t expect everyone to eat what’s given to them. Anyway, the waiter full on rolled his eyes at me. I’m a calm person but this made my blood boil! You also have to pay for drinks in these restaurants which I just think is insane. No words No ice cream for the children except when they’re having dinner. Again, not what I’d expect in a 5*. Facilities are NOT as described. Not anywhere near. The water slides are in an area at the back where nobody goes and no bar facilities are there and it is FULL of hornets. The “beach” is not a beach! It’s a 1 meter squared area of rock that 2 people can stand on. There’s no sand and you can’t sunbathe down there. The photos are so misleading. There is only 2 bars open with a max of 2 drinks per customer at once. Not great for families fetching drinks. I was drinking lime and soda and they ran out of lime cordial and made no attempt to get more. I couldn’t have an iced coffee. It’s honestly horrendous. The toilets are ages away from the pool bar and only 2 ladies and 2 gents toilets. Nowhere near enough facilities. Rooms are very basic. Shower is rubbish and over flows. Hot water is intermittent Water you get a bottle per guest on arrival then after that you have to pay if you want bottled water. Every other 5* I’ve stayed in you were just given it when you wanted and the fridge was replenished daily. No coffee or tea making facilities. Hair dryer is ridiculous it’s a hoover type hose that just blows out mildly warm air. Took me 40 mins to dry my hair. I could go on. I had high hopes for this hotel but it’s nowhere near expectations. What a shame.

This is the worst hotel i’ve ever been to. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to pay luxury prices for the emotional experience of sleeping in a damp broom closet, look no further. This hotel delivers disappointment on a level that almost feels intentional. Check-in was a spiritual test of patience — the front desk staff seemed genuinely shocked that guests would, in fact, want to stay there. After a solid half hour of searching their computer with the speed of a dial-up connection from 1998, I was handed my key card like it was a personal favor. The room itself was a bold artistic statement in beige despair. The “city view” was actually a breathtaking panorama of a dumpster and a wall. The air conditioner made sounds that can only be described as “angry lawnmower meets dying walrus.” I considered asking for a room change, but the idea of re-engaging with the front desk filled me with existential dread. Water was leaking through ceiling. Housekeeping clearly operates on a “see no dirt, clean no dirt” philosophy. I found a complimentary hair in the sink and what might’ve once been a French fry under the bed — perhaps a tribute to the last guest who didn’t survive their stay. Breakfast was an absolute feast… for pigeons. Lukewarm coffee, rubbery eggs that could bounce, and toast so pale it looked like it had never seen sunlight. In short: if you enjoy disappointment, insomnia, and the thrilling uncertainty of whether your towels were ever washed, this is the place for you. For everyone else — run.

Just got back from a weeks all inclusive holiday here, I would personally not class this as a five star hotel. Our room was quite outdated, looked like they'd tried to attach the toilet holder and soap dispensers to the wall, but it hadn't worked and then the sticky stuff used just left stuck to the wall. We didnt like that the sink was out in the main area of the room and bathroom wasn't all together. Noise level wasn't great either as could hear entertainment loudly going until 1045-11 each night, entertainment very samey could do with mixing it up a bit, also had very inconsiderate neighbours, who woke us up 3-4 am, 3 nights in a row, drunk laughing loudly and watching stuff on their phones on the balcony (which we didn't report to staff as we didn't think much could be done) had to pay extra for better cocktails as I am personally quite picky and really didn't enjoy the all inclusive cocktails.... food was good but again a lot was the same, the al a carte Asian restaurant was delicious though and really enjoyed the menu. Most staff very friendly and helpful, especially the reception team and barman in the main bar (sorry unsure of names). Main areas very clean and liked that sunbeds and areas cleaned daily before anyone got up, but room wasn't always cleaned well one day toilet bin unemptied and full for a few days because of this not very hygienic when having to throw toilet paper away. Overall had a lovely holiday but I personally wouldn't stay here again, not one to write reviews but feel feedback was needed in this case.

Just come back from a week’s holiday had a lovely holiday our room was a deluxe double with sea view room a bit dated not 5* but the view was amazing definitely 5* food in hotel was amazing especially Al a carte restaurants enjoyed all 3 our favourite was the Asian really enjoyed it the Albania guy sorry can’t remember the name was fantastic nothing too much trouble all staff working really hard and very pleasant right now for the bad points pools need attention tiles missing beach sunbeds need replacing broken and cheap definitely not giving 5* vibes also struggled to find a nice drink didn’t like red wine white okay beer okay cocktails okay but definitely not 5* fancy cocktails soft drinks tasted like soda water need more syrup but hotel could be 5* with a few changes at the moment it is only a 4*I have stayed at Mitsis 5* and compared it to that but enjoyed our holiday and will definitely return

L'hôtel est agréable, situé près d'une plage. La nourriture est très bonne et abondante. Les animations de soirée (groupes musicaux, DJ) sont de bonne qualite. La literie est confortable.

Les piscines sont petites et l'eau très froide. Les animations de journée ne se font pas selon le programme. Il manque une bouilloire dans la chambre pour se faire un thé, café.

Booked the deal via Hays(easyjet deal). What I requested/expected, was not quite what we got, but let's focus on what I loved: If you have an issue, staff friendly and ready to help. Buffet food a very good selection each night: fresh and tasty. Greek cuisine, but also other cuisines to suit different tastes. Beer is very good. Location is great. Beach with direct access. Sea was lovely during September. Dont be scared to leave the resort. Other beaches to explore and so much to see. Bus is more affordable, but if you are pressed for time, taxi or rent a car. All of this can be arranged by reception or a few steps at the front of the hotel. All incl spirits and wine a 3 out of 5 (pending on your taste, but prepare to pay for branded/premium drinks - wine and cocktails) All incl Beer a 5 out of 5 (i like lager, again depends what you prefer) Buffet food 5 out of 5 A le carte 4 out of 5, book this before you arrive. Staff 5 out of 5 Condition of buildings/rooms 3.5 out of 5 Seaview room, be very specific when you book and inform hotel prior to arrival Twin or double, be very specific when you book and inform hotel prior to arrival.
