Hotel Management was not accommodating and very rude. When we called the hotel to book the trip we chose the all inclusive package for a family of 7, we were not informed that the hotel all inclusive did include room service or restaurants every night. We were given two nights at the restaurant for staying nine days, and had to either eat at the buffet or dine out. Food was average at best, and rooms were small. There are much better options on the island with nicer people. Stay away from this one.

We had a beautiful time at your resort for a family wedding. We spent 9 days there. Niki at the pool bar made the pool extra special and enjoyable. I honestly think that if she wasn’t attending the pool bar our stay would have not been as relaxing as it was. The system for the lounge chairs by the pool could have been handled better as far as getting chairs in the am and getting something to eat was not allowed. It made the morning with a large group a little chaotic. The hotel was pretty clean and the maid service was fine. The restaurants were a bit inconvenient as you can’t get a reservation easily and there are not enough of them to accommodate your stay . Overall the stay was comfortable but i feel that if I was to visit crete again I would stay in a different hotel.

Lovely 7 night stay.

The hotel is great, the food is amazing. Great restaurants, great rooms. Everything is taken care of, nothing is missing. We got a room with a sea view, it is really amazing. The staff is very helpful, attentive, asks if anything is missing.

- cockroaches in hotel - steps and hills everywhere (not disabled friendly) - sea view room was NOT sea view The steps to the beach and pools are not clearly shown on the website, nor the fact that the main entertainment is up a massive hill! When we informed the reception of my disability we weren’t offered a buggy to get around even though they had them on site When we reported my disability and told them I struggle with gradients and steps we were put in a room even further away from the main amenities!

This was our 4th stay in this amazing hotel. It started well with a room upgrade as a nice gesture. The room was perfect. The food and drinks were excellent and compared to last year all allergens were clearly mentioned. The staff was very helpful for our special requirements. It is to be mentioned that all the more "experienced" staff is very friendly and helpful as well as Marietta and Stefania. Excellent shows at the lobby bar. We had a great time, slightly less than last year though for two reasons: * on day 2 we wanted to book the Thalassa restaurant but were told it was full... The manager still found us a spot (thanks again) but very early so we did not enjoy it as much as we did last year . They should increase the capacity of that restaurant to stay in line with what is advertised. * we have noticed that there are way more employees (waitresses and cleaning ladies) that do not speak English which creates misunderstandings about the food order and room cleaning (our room was forgotten despite the make the room signal and it took them 30 mins to bring towels)... this not in line with our past 3 experiences and what is expected from a 5* hotel. Overall amazing experience and looking forward to a future visit !!!

Fantastic hotel, amazing staff and fabulous food. Staff remembered our children’s names and got them involved in lots of water activities.

What can we say. First time we’ve written a review about a holiday, but we felt we needed to put some words together for this resort. The staff, facilities, food, cleanliness and a world class animation team made our 2 weeks amazing. Our 2 daughters aged 11 & 13 enjoyed every minute and simply fell in love with the animation team. Big shout out to Anna, Anastasia, Gavin, Rueben, Staci, Tony and all the others who worked tirelessly to create life long memories. Weather was incredible and the on-site water park was great fun. The chlorine pool at the water park area was a nice break from the main salt pool, which took some getting used to. All the staff from across the resort from the reception, dining and the various bars were friendly. All inclusive Local wine was not good but lots of other drinks part of all-inclusive. We had a great time and the sunsets were awesome!

We had the time of our lives at the Creta Marine. We were made to feel so welcome right from the start. We received drinks, roses and help with our luggage on arrival. Our room was lovely and everywhere was spotless and well maintained. The food was fabulous and we loved trying the traditional Greek dishes on offer. As well as the buffet, we ate at the Greek and Mediterranean a la carte restaurants. Both were outstanding and the staff made our evenings there feel very special. In particular Kristen in the Greek restaurant was great. My daughter has a nut allergy and staff at both restaurants had good knowledge of what questions to ask in order to determine which food was safe for her to eat, we felt very reassured (which often isn’t the case when we’re in Europe). The scenery was stunning, the best we’ve seen. The beach coves were beautiful and we loved the food truck on the beach front that cooked fresh slovaki and gyros to order! I felt there was plenty of space on the resort and peace and quiet if you wanted it, the place never felt overcrowded. Overall Crete was wonderful and I would recommend a day out in Rethymno and an evening in Panormos. We had a great holiday and will definitely be back!
