A compleet fantastique pleasant experience from the first entrance till departure. Welcoming with a rose, champagne and a refreshing handtowel! A wide choice at the buffet, refreshing chambers, enthousiastic entertainmentteam and helpful, friendly staff! A place to return!

Where to start? Iberostar selection Creta Marina is a fantastic hotel with so much to offer. From the moment we stepped foot into the hotel we were amazed. We were welcomed with a gorgeous rose for my partner and cold towels for both of us as it was over 30 degrees at 11pm. We were taken to our seafront bungalow by golf cart and the staff were so polite and friendly giving us a tour of the grounds and facilities on the way down. The room was stunning, fresh towels, fresh drinks, clean bedding every single day. Which made our days even better coming back from the pool. Whilst staying here I planned to propose to my partner, Ellie from guest relations / reception was incredibly helpful and helped me through each step to arrange the most amazing moment for my and my partner. So she booked a private balcony at the a la carte restaurant by the sea (thalassa) and the moment could not have been better. The photographer Yanis was also incredible to capture the moment and we met on the second day and he kept in touch every single day making sure to capture the perfect moment. When we got back to the room we were welcomed to a bunch of roses and a bottle of champagne. This hotel has it all. The food is fantastic I cannot say a single bad word, a different selection every day. You have to come to see it for yourself!! We will be coming back here for sure in the near future as we will struggle to find anywhere better. The entertainment on the main stage is still great but it is directed towards families and children. The entertainment at the salon lobby bar is amazing from Turkish dancers, greek singers and live music performances and mainly for adults. Could not rate this higher.

Our stay in hotel Creta Marine was a fantastic experience for me and my daughter Britt. The room was very clean and the bathroom had a rainshower. You can make reservations for breakfast, lunch and dinner via the television. The personnel was super friendly from the moment we arrived with wet towels and a rose. They stand ready to help you with every question. The grounds are well kept and nowhere can litter be seen. There are a few coves where you can swim in seawater where the fish swim next to your feet. The central pool is also beautiful and contains saltwater and there is a pool bar where you can get refreshing drinks. Saving the best for last: the animation team! For kids of all ages and adults activities are organised throughout the day. Their enthusiasm is very catchy! I want to single out a few members of the team. Victor and Leiri are amazing! They can motivate the most couch bound people like we to play waterpolo or beach volleyball or give everything during aqua gym. In the evening a daily show is provided with humor, dancing, improvisation, acrobatics (Tony Macaroni as master of ceremonies, actor, star and dancer together with his gifted dancers/animators need to be singled out). A bout out to Lord of the dance Shane. And the music with predominantly Latino songs makes you hum the tunes long after your back at home and makes you yearn to get back. Thanks to all of you for the wonderful stay. We will definitely be back and I hope to see this animation team back!

The hotel has a relaxed atmosphere, and the buildings and grounds are spotless and well maintained. Our sea-view room was modern and spacious enough for a cot, though the illuminated air-con and light control panels meant the room was never fully dark. There are several pools, including a baby pool with mini slides and a new water park. Be warned: unless you join the early morning lounger rush (which we don’t) you’ll struggle to find more than a couple of beds until after 5:30 pm. A few drawbacks to note: Parking is limited on-site, though there’s an overflow nearby. The gym doesn’t open until 9 a.m. Inconvenient for early risers or parents trying to squeeze in an early morning workout. Check-in involved us downloading and emailing our booking confirmation to “make their lives easier” for the reservations team. We were not offered any help with luggage on arrival/departure. When I asked for an ice bucket, staff questioned why I needed one—something I’ve never encountered from any hotel, ever! Similarly, arriving after the towel hut closed at 5 p.m., we were told to “respect the opening hours,” despite the pool staying open until 7. Despite the reception idiosyncrasies, the hotel offers comfortable accommodation, good food, and a peaceful setting.

Better than the pictures! Very nice stadf and enthousiastic entertainment team. Rooms are clean and there are a lot of food and drink options with all inclusive. We had a swim up room wwith garden viee which was perfect for cooling off after the main swimming pool. Also close to Panarmos and Rehtymo, where we went regularly to shop and eat out/have some drinks. Will for sure return sometime!

If you are thinking of booking this hotel, then please do not hesitate! Food is of excellent quality - the gyros (available from the street-food van are unbelievable!). The drinks are great: the wine and cocktails (local Cretan wine and international brands) are of excellent quality and go way beyond the usual drinks package offered on AI packages. The accommodation is spotless and the mood lighting is a lovely feature; toiletries include organic soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. There are plenty of sunbeds available around the three pools and the three private beach coves. The service is fantastic and the staff do an incredible job in ensuring that their guests enjoy an wonderful experience in their hotel! Thank you to all the staff at the Creta Marine - you have created amazing memories for my husband and I, which we will cherish for many years to come!

Hotel is fabulous and staff have been very attentive. Room is always clean and tidy and mini bar is always restocked everyday. Food has been delicious and always warm. Entertainment team have been fabulous and always joyful and chatty round the pool.

My family and I are having a great time. The hotel's food is good and varied, the pool and deckchairs make for a real moment of relaxation and the hotel staff are lovely and dynamic. The activities are perfect to brighten up our days, we always have fun! What's more, the bedding is very pleasant and always clean. Thank you for your warm and relaxing welcome! :)
