"Below Average hotel"

I stayed in the Travelers Cartagena suites with a friend for some relaxation. The room is average, has everything you need but is nothing special. The TV/cable box setup was confusing at first, but it worked. The water pressure and hot water were not very good. The main issue though is customer service and communication. I had requests throughout my stay but many were ignored and not addressed by the office staff. The telephone in our room did not work. I asked about a few tours and local spots but they either didn’t know about them or didn’t care to find out. I asked for hand soap and body soap MULTIPLE times since our room wasn’t stocked, but never received any. After a few days I gave up and went out to buy it myself. It felt like asking the staff for anything extra for your stay was too much for them to handle. The breakfast was ok. And the location and view from the apartment are nice. The cleaning staff are also very nice. But for some reason the front office staff are not very hospitable or responsible. Overall this spot needs to work on proper customer service and communication. If you find another more established place for your stay, go that route!

The manager was rude, I thought that my credit card was already charged by travelocity, and the manager said I had to pay there. That would have been fine, except he didn't even take the time to explain anything. He was just rude, and brushed us off.
