Good location! Friendly staffs.

Nice location and super helpful staff. Had a very bad travel day getting there, but the staff was still very friendly and helpful. The room was great and the location couldn’t be beat. If I am ever in Geneva again I will look to stay here again.

Perfect and affordable no frills place to stay for work. Near a central train station makes it easy to get around, although you can walk pretty much anywhere. The room was nice and clean, staff friendly and helpful, and breakfast was brought to the room every morning. The mattress is very firm, so be prepared fi you are use to sleeping on a soft bed.

The hotel is centrally located within walking distance from the train station. The lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful. She provided us with a kettle and made arrangement for breakfast to be delivered early. She also provided us with a parking coupon for our rental car. The room was warm and the breakfast was awesome. We had a good night sleep :) Thanks

Very disappointed with our stay. Friendly reception but overall presentation of lobby area and bedrooms is very poor. The room was very warm but outside noise too loud to leave a window open and only a fan is provided which even on the lowest power setting sounds like a jet plane about to take off. The beds were awful. You can feel every spring in the mattress and the pillow was as flat as a pancake. There was a fridge in the room which made a noise like someone drilling every 5 minutes. There was a TV and free wi-if although the latter was intermittent. Trying to charge phones and iPads was a challenge as there was one spare socket above the light switch by the door so we had to unplug the bedroom lights and because we had uk plug adaptors only one plug would fit. The decor was tired looking and although not dirty it wasn’t spotless and we found a previous guests sock under one of the beds. We paid 112 euros for each room and it wasn’t worth that amount. I’d say 60-70 would be more appropriate. Only redeeming feature is being central and close to the station but we had previously stayed at the Astoria for a similar amount and the difference in quality was huge. I wouldn’t recommend staying at Torhotel unless you are desperate.

Very convenient location and comfortable. Transport ticket included was a nice bonus. Very friendly check in and large breakfast to start the day.

Great place to stay. So close to the lake and yet reasonably priced with super helpful staff.

We were unpleasantly surprised based on the positive reviews that we had read before our stay. The room amenities were sparse, the beds and pillows were uncomfortable, there was no service/staff between 11 pm and 7 am, and the parking was much further away than advertised. When we went to get our car from the parking garage, the discounted voucher from the hotel did not work and we had to pay 100 euro for two days. While the hotel did provide a basic breakfast for 15 euro a person, this was too expensive for children who don’t eat much. The coffee stand in the lobby didn’t have much, the restaurant closest to the hotel didn’t open until 7 pm, and there weren’t many food options within 2 blocks of the hotel. Finally, bright sunlight and loud construction noise woke us up at 7 am each morning during our stay. We definitely paid too much for this hotel and don’t recommend it.
