Pethers Rainforest Retreat

It was amazing located deep within tambourine mountain bush land

Huge room located in the rainforest.

Breakfast was a little disappointing.

A few more “self catering” facilities like a dish washer and maybe a washing machine?

Rooms were lovely and private, the soaring ceilings and windows were gorgeous. It was lovely to lie in bed and see the birds in the morning. The bed was comfortable and the romantic spa bath was lovely, the candles were a nice touch. The cabins are surrounded by beautiful rainforest which was nice and picturesque. The cabins were cozy with the rain outside. The breakfast hampers hand delivered in the morning were a lovely touch. All the staff were amazing and the quality of service was excellent. We had dinner at the restaurant on one of the evenings that we stayed over and the chef's tasting menu was superb. This was a lovely place for a romantic weekend gettaway.

There were only a small few things that I feel could have been improved. Most notably was the sofa, it seemed to be a bit on its last legs and made a disconcerting sound when two of us sat on it. It definitely could use an upgrade to something more comfortable and include a throw blanket for cold evenings. The wires hanging from the TV could have been tucked away behind the stand to improve the aesthetics of a lovely space. As a premium place, the complimentary toiletries and shower accessory details, as well as quality of towels, bath mats, dressing gowns etc. could have been a bit more upscale.

Waking up in a king-size bed with nothing but rainforest around you… pure bliss. Quiet, relaxing, and exactly what we needed. 10/10.
