Budget Lodge Inn - Abilene

Run down. Needs a good maintenance man. I got checked into a non cleaned room initially. Had to move. Parking lot is a joke.

It was actually a very nice clean place to stay. I liked the fact that i could park right in front of my room.

Nice comfortable Mattress, HUGE fluffy King-sized pillows (by any Motel standards). Compact but efficient room, good sized bathroom. I love it when they renovate and reuse rooms in these classic older motels. How many rooms nowadays can you slide open a big window for fresh air ?? Very few... I would stay here again...

Definitely get what you pay for. Staff was very friendly upon arrival but if I wanted more out of the hotel than just a place to lay my head down for a few hours I would have gone elsewhere. Room had a faint smell, carpets were very dirty with stains. I would define my stay here as adequate.

The Budget Lodge Inn is great value for the money. Every room has a microwave and a fridge. Sometimes we would have trouble sleeping but not that night. The bed was firm and super comfy. I would definitely stay here again.

The price was low and we just needed a place to sleep.

First, we had to dial in to get to the front desk and wait for ten minutes for a poorly dressed clerk to help. Then we entered the room to discover dents and holes in the walls, a stained toilet and shower curtain, a bed too large for the room that caused other furniture to be inaccessible, and tv too small for the room. On the plus side, the bed was not uncomfortable. Oh, and there is no access to the thermostat. You get what they want you to have.

They tried to give me a mop bucket full of dirty water so I could clean the floor. I made my dogs stay on the bed until I was able to get clean water and mop the floors. They gave me a gallon jug of bleach so I could clean the bathroom, the lights, the head board had blood on it. The bathroom sink had blood on it. It took an hour to get clean sheets and by the time my husband came back, I was done cleaning and had clean sheets but we decided not to stay due to the filth around the base boards an the beds and pillows being sooooo old. They refused to give our money back even though the place is clean and ready for a customer. I'm talking to my attorney about charging them for the work I did.

Website information very misleading. No amenities whatsoever. very crude furnishings. electronics almost nonexistent. Air conditioner worked well! Bed was comfortable. Will not recommend.

The first room was not even made up. The second room had no heat. No thermostat . One sheet and one thin blanket. Was exhausted from being up since 4am mountain time so did not want to pack everything up Again! It was miserable I do not recommend to anyone. Had to sleep in clothes and still froze!
