JW Marriott Hotel Bogotá

The hotel lost water for a whole day! And also power the elevators were not working. You can imagine the up and down stairs going to the 9th floor

After an exhausting 34 hours journey, I arrived at JW Marriott Bogota for a 5-night stay. Despite my late midnight arrival, the front desk team, especially Julian Bernal,ensured a smooth and efficient check -in, which was greatly appreciated. The following day, Julian Bernal went above and beyond by arranging transportation for my tours and providing valuable advice on safety during my stay in Bogota. Through my visit, both Julian and Angela Romero were incredibly helpful and friendly, consistently ensuring I had everything I needed. The entire staff at JW Marriott Bogota showcased an outstanding service attitude. They truly are the gems of the hotel, making my stay comfortable and memorable. Thank you for such a fantastic experience!

This is not a JW Marriott we are used to. We had issue on Bonvoy app which suddenly made our reservation disappear and Stefanie one of the day shifts not only didnot greet us, she didnot even help us resolve the issue. The service at Buffett breakfast was so slow that I had to ask for my coffee at least 3 times. Food was Ok. Lounge was very basic and not at all to JW Marriott standards we have been experiencing. The spa and sauna were great. The bathroom tissue (seriously) feels like sand paper or those roll up papers for drawing!!!!!! We did get upgraded to a suite with no view. After check out and while in taco, I noticed Stephanie overcharged me by 57$. Check other Marriott affiliated hotels in Bogota. This was the most expensive JW we have stayed with most disappointing experience. (300$ a night?!) The 2 stars belong to the great front reception, Sebastian, who even " In training" was very attentive and diligent in helping us within his power. Kudos to Sebastian!!' Also location is about 1.30 hours with uber to main attractions.

Professional service personnel and very nice team.

I had an amazing stay at JW Marriott Bogotá, thanks to the exceptionally friendly and professional staff. A special shout-out to Alejandra and Karen at The Market restaurant, who made breakfast a delightful experience with their warm service, and to the Executive Lounge team, who provided top-notch hospitality. If you have lounge access, I highly recommend using it for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The hotel is spotlessly clean, with a well-equipped gym, a nice pool, and a spa with a sauna, perfect for unwinding. Whether you’re travelling for business or leisure, this hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning!

Definitely not up to par to other JW I have stayed. Bad lobby service since our arrival. Nobody greets you or takes your luggage. In the restaurant you have to be asking for forks and other utensils. They have a lot to improve to be at a JW level. Not worth it.
