Amritara The Poovath Beachfront Heritage, Fort Kochi

Lovely hotel and friendly staff. Great location for exploring Forte Kochi.

Jaya and her staff were fabulous - highly recommended - nice room very nice swimming pool the breakfast was delightful and the place itself is so nice. Great location on Fort Kochi I would recommend to everyone to have a lovely stay at Amritara !!!

It was a quaint little place with very friendly staff. The restaurant was covered but had no walls / no AC. Also, they do not have a liquor license so they do not serve.

Clean, centrally located, yet quiet hotel by the beachside. The building has a delightful architecture with helpful and friendly staff. The mattress could’ve been more comfortable but in the grand scheme of things it wasn’t a big issue. I even got a nice goodie back at my hotel check-in. Would definitely stay again if I’m back in the area.

We had a great stay. The hotel is a beautiful old heritage home on the water with great rooms, decor and service. I will stay again in the future.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming ti the property which was a converted dutch house. Rooms were snug but clean and comfortable. Mosquitos were a bit of a problem but they were treating this every day which helped a lot. Good selection of food for breakfast with some hot cooked fresh inclusing masala dosa and eggs (any preferred way). As we had an early flight home they packed us breakfast which was very kind. Use the hotel organksed spa for ayurvedic massage/facials which was great. Location was right in fort kochi so was convenient to walk around the area.

This hotel was good—looks nice and rooms are nice. The staff is very helpful and very accommodating—even with our middle-of-the-night checkout/departure. The food menu is somewhat limited but that's not surprising given that it's a small place. Our bathroom had a bad sewage-type odor when we arrived but it seemed to have been fixed after housekeeping. I'd stay again.

The room was very clean and spacious with a nice separate sitting area. The hotel is located quite close to the waterfront, and not too far from several shops and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay here and would return again.

It was really superb and y the workers and management went totally above and beyond what was required! I can't recommended them highly enough! Plus the location is excellent.
