Newport Resort

The size of the room, and having a kitchen was wonderful for a family trip!

Clean rooms it would have been nice to have room service. The price is awesome.

Location was great.

Beds were a little soft.

The fireplace did not work. The toilet seat was broken....but was fixed. Couldn't get out the patio door because of outdated locking system. Shower is horrible!! Hair dryer in bathroom did not work. Dishes in dishwasher were dirty and dishwasher was filthy. On other hand, pool and hottub area was wonderful!!! Place is older and outdated. With a few updates and a little more effort in making sure reserved rooms were in "working" order, the place could be great! Staff was great. These "little " things probably won't keep us from coming back, but making sure everything works woukd be a great bonus. Right now, not worth what we paid.

Wonderful location to all our activities. Our kids enjoyed all the things to do, including the pool, and having the option to use bikes offered. We stayed in one of the 2 bedrooms and it was a perfect fit for our family of 5!

The pool was closed which was a disappointment as I chose this property partly because of the pool. We were given the option of using the pool at another resort but that wasn’t particularly desirable to us. The space was nice with a covered patio to enjoy the beautiful fall days. We also enjoyed the convenience of being able to easily walk to restaurants and shopping.

great location, walking distance to many restaurants and shops. staff is very accommodating. Pool, hot tub and sauna were great after a day of walking. Highly recommend!

Good points: Great location, large rooms, full kitchen, excellent patio/balcony, Awesome front desk staff! Bad points: dated bathrooms and living room furniture. Carpet in the rooms need a refresh.
