Newport Resort

The Newport Resort was our main block for our wedding in Egg Harbor, and they were able to accommodate all of us with no issues! We had over 75 of our guests there with minimal issues. The only issue we had was that we had one of the conference rooms booked for a farewell brunch for our guests, for over a year, but that booking was somehow misplaced, and the conference room was filled to the brim with maintenance supplies when we arrived and unavailable. We were offered the other conference room on the second floor, but it smelled musty and was difficult to find compared to the first room, which was right off the lobby and convenient for guests to access. However, we spoke to the general manager, and he arranged for the lobby seating area to be converted into a space for us to host the brunch instead, so I very happy that it was able to be resolved. Overall, we love staying at the Newport and find it is a great home base when exploring Door County! We love the ability to cook, and the suite always allows us to have space to host or spread out. Thank you for giving us and our guests a great experience!

Bed could have been better

This was my first time in Door County. I liked the location. Nothing was a long drive. Very comfortable with lots of space and very nice having a full kitchen.

I always request the upper floor but forgot and ended up with three young kids running and jumping constantly. Extremely loud but luckily they stopped by 10pm.
