Patrick and his team were incredibly helpful during a difficult time for our family. They went out of their way to accommodate us and other family members who arrived with no booking. The property is very clean and tidy, I highly recommend this property and can not praise the peiple that work here enough. Thanks again

The manager is terribly rude and unwelcoming especially to people who booked via 3rd parties like Expedia. We arrived at about 12 which was before check in time. Wanted to leave the car and our bags there because we were going on a day tour until evening. As I was parking my car in reverse, my car touched the plants behind the car and he made a huge hoo ha about it. I promise the plants didn't even suffer so much as a scratch from the car touching them. After that he said that we are not allowed to check in early because we booked via 3rd party, and if we wanted he could cancel our hotel booking. Additionally because of the car incident he almost didn't want to let us park our car there since we hadn't checked in, until I showed him a message from Best Western Dunedin saying that we could do exactly that. After that he said the reply wasn't sent by him but instead the team handling Expedia bookings or whatever. Frankly, his personal issues with 3rd party booking platforms are none of my business. On top of that because of the car touching the plants, he said that he didn't want to talk to me and that it was the worst driving he had ever seen in this carpark. I think that was an incredibly rude and unwarranted personal attack. The room was lovely other than a very noisy portable heater in the bedroom. However I am very disappointed with such horrid service levels from a renowned 5 star hotel and will not return.
