Breakfast was only supplied for one day. Disappointed it wasn’t replenished for second night

Up stairs rooms were very noisy for us staying down stairs . Toilet directly above the bed was very horrible to listen too

Great location, quaint vintage cottage. Spa bath was great.

Nothing unexpected. We stayed in the loft cottage which may be hard to access for older folks, but this was communicated to us ahead of our stay.

Extremely charming, secluded and quiet. Very calming.

The bed wasn’t the best, and the linen is quite old.

THE LOFT We recently stayed at the loft and overall had a lovely experience. The location is fantastic and the loft itself looks like something out of a fairy tale from the outside. The surrounding grounds are beautiful and really add to the charm of the stay. Communication with the hosts was excellent – very quick and helpful – and check-in was simple and easy. The loft was also very clean, which we appreciated, and our request for a late checkout was kindly honoured.

A few things could be improved. The bed was quite uncomfortable and felt very old, which made sleeping difficult. It also got quite chilly overnight and there were no spare blankets or pillows available. The gas fireplace unfortunately didn’t do much to heat the ground floor. The stairs to the loft are quite steep, which could be tricky for some guests, and there isn’t a lot of natural light downstairs. Breakfast was included, which was a nice touch, but it only included ham slices rather than bacon, and some of the snacks provided were home-brand items. Considering the price of the accommodation, slightly higher quality breakfast and snack options would make the stay feel more in line with the cost.

Beautiful accomodation! It was comfortable and in a central but private location. It had everything we needed and we had an incredible time.
