Arnica Views

The room was nice. And it was a nice location.

The people above us were stomping around all night so we had trouble getting sleep because it was constant and all night. We weren’t able to use the spa bath till 10pm due to not having any hot water.

We loved the fireplace in the bedroom and the big comfy king sized bed. Beautiful lighting as well. Although light switches weren't always intuitively located, but what can you do? We also loved that they provided robes, a laundry and shower products. We were delighted and surprised that there were breakfast foods provided, which made things really easy. We loved the location, near our favourite restaurant Kelly's Bar and Kitchen and enjoyed the very short walk to Sky High.

Some transparent gauzy one-way blinds would have been nice, as the rooms had windows into a public backyard and carpark. We kept the curtains closed a lot for privacy, and I would have liked to enjoy the beautiful nature views outside more.

We were very well looked after in a beautiful accommodation.

It was an honour to stay in such a charming, rustic building. We enjoyed a lovely evening walk to the Sky High Observatory for dinner, and the bed was very comfortable. The property is private, quiet, and impressively clean and well-maintained considering its age. The gas fireplace is a beautiful touch that kept us warm at night, and I especially enjoyed the jacuzzi bathtub.

We felt the breakfast portions could be more generous for three people, and including some basic toiletries would be a nice bonus. The weak Wi-Fi made watching Netflix or YouTube quite difficult. Additionally, while I understand insects are expected in a wooded area, finding bugs in the bathtub was a bit unwelcome.

You helped make our wedding night and morning after the best we could have asked for, the place was lovely and my now wife absolutely loved it, the spa was incredible and the fire was beautiful, and the food for breakfast went down an absolute treat, thank you so much.

Nothing, it was perfect and I couldn’t have asked anything better.
