We just spent 5 nights exploring the Te Anau and Fiordland area with Radfords as our home base. Kierri, the owner, is an outstanding hostess who answered many questions and made numerous excellent recommendations for tours and restaurants prior to our arrival. The hotel has an excellent location and beautiful views right on Lake Te Anau with easy walking to town, shops, restaurants and groceries. We had no issues not having a car. We had a suite with a very comfortable sitting and eating area and a very well accommodated kitchenette and so had no problem making a nice breakfast for ourselves. Everything about the room was immaculately clean, fresh and updated. You’ll love it here!

This is advertised as luxury accommodation. A very overused word in our vocabulary today. Radfords On The Lake is a motel right by the lake. It is very clean, well maintained, comfortable accommodation. It is not luxury but it is very comfortable and Kerry the manager was very kind and helpful. The units all have a separate lounge area and kitchen. Perfect for preparing breakfast or a pack lunch. There are also complimentary laundry facilities. A basic breakfast of cereal and fruit is provided.
