Location and personnel kindness

We had a lovely stay at this Moxy which is well located but involves a 20 minute walk to old town or use of free lovely public bus. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I wish a king bed was available without having to get a suite. I think the Belgrade Courtyard is a better location but of course more expensive

Belgrade is a very nice, friendly, and lively city. The Moxy by Marriott is centrally located, offering easy and quick access to nearly all attractions and business areas. There are plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, and places nearby to meet friends or business partners. The Moxy brand is designed to appeal to a specific type of guest, and the Moxy Belgrade location exceeded my expectations. It has a very friendly atmosphere with a unique character of its own. The service is highly professional, and every staff member we encountered was warm and welcoming. This isn't just based on our most recent stay—we're regular guests at this location. The rooms are always clean, and the mattresses are comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. It's definitely a place worth staying at and recommending to others. It's clean, welcoming, and offers great value for the price.

Moxy Belgrade is exactly what you'd expect from a trendy, budget-friendly chain. It was a solid base for exploring the city, but definitely a 3-star experience overall. The biggest downside for us was the mattress, which was rock hard. Thankfully, the staff were helpful and added a mattress topper when we asked, which made a big difference. The lobby bar had a good vibe, but they were oddly strict about serving alcohol past a certain time, even though the space felt like it should be more flexible and social into the evening. The food and local wines they offered were great though. All in all, it’s a decent option if you're looking for something stylish and affordable, but don’t come expecting luxe comforts.

Moxy was a good choice for location and facilities. The rooms are relatively small with no work space, there are good options in the lobby/cafe area for working which many people did, not great for confidential calls, but ok otherwise The bed was functional as was the bathroom, basic but functional. The staff were very helpful.

Breakfast was a never changing buffet. Scrambled eggs, mushrooms, pork and chicken sausages for hot food. Plenty of bread and pastries, cereals and yoghurt, cheeses and so on. Tea and coffee from the machine. After 2 days I switched to cereals rather than the hot breakfast. Perhaps some mix and match here would be nice for long staying guests. Also having the pork and chicken sausages in the same container meant any muslim or jewish guests were stuck with eggs and mushrooms only. Some thought here needed.

The breakfast was disappointing, especially for the price. But there were other great breakfast options nearby.
