Well renovated located close to Yuzhno-Sakhalin center. Plenty of opportunity to go out for dinner, though the hotel has a good Italian restaurant with very pleasant staff. Not just restaurant staff is friendly, same is true for receptionists and bartenders. The breakfast buffet is unexpectedly large and good. Extra kudos for offering my favorite start of the day: oatmeal porridge. The coffee (nescafé instant) is a bit of a disappointment, but there should always remain something to wish for. Rooms are good size, well insulated and therefore quiet. Though I have to admit, I don't much care for the habit in colder climates to overheat hotel rooms. The hotel has a gym and good swimming pool. For business travel to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk I can absolutely recommend hotel and its staff. Some minor points of attention for both travelers and staff. If you want to be absolutely sure of new towels drop them on the bad mat. In some cases you have to ask for them, as for other small amenities; but staff always handles such requests well. We've once had a water outage early morning; putting up a note (e.g. in breakfast room) with cause and likely time that supply is restored would be considerate & helpful. Get used to the habit to serve food as soon as it is prepared, causing a certain randomness in the order of appearance of dishes on the table; this seems to be the local habit, rather than specific for the Mira restaurant.

I have had a chance to stay briefly to hotel Mira, during my last business trip. The buliding is new and in the center town, the rooms are comfortable, clean and fairly spacious, good fitness area and pool to recharge after a day's work. Breakfast excellent, varied (Italian, Russian & international) and plentiful, above the standards. Recommended.

Room very nice, excellent class, amazing place. I recommend it. The receptionist are very helpful, if you need taxi or informations about the city Breakfast very good with large selection healthy food,fruit and vegetables Business menu at restaurant around 950 rub. Very interesting also delicious.

Not far from airport. Quiet rooms, comfortable. Good value Busines hotel. It has a decent size pool and gym so take your gear with you as not really anywhere else to go around about in the winter. The reception staff are extremely helpful,just ask, and be fcsure to use them to arrange taxis.

Stayed in this Hotel at least 10 times overthe last 2 years and I would rate it lowever than everything I have seen before on my trips: you regularlzý miss towels in the room when you come back from the construction site, breafast does not open on time (15 min later must be tolerated, check-in / out takes very Long. Happy that I can leave today and don't have to return.

I have booked my stay through the Mira Hotel website. I was extremely pleased with the quality of the service provided. All staff were extremely nice, and they dealt with any issues I had very well. I have also received a 1000RUB voucher for the laundry service during my check-in, which was very useful for me. The hotel is also situated in the city centre, with a lot of shops around and the staff are helpful with explaining directions to wherever I need to get. Overall, I would like to say that my stay here was amazing.

Already few times accomodated in mira hotel visiting Sakhalin island ,comparing Mira hotel about the room is the best thay can you can find in the city of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, the breakfast is good for the quality and the variety, i reccomend for business travellers

Гостиница хорошая, рядом Исаакиевский собор и недалёко до невского. Из минусов - пешком на 3-й этаж но я был налегке и проблем не составило. Очень приветливый персонал.
