Hôtel Le Crillon

Dwie noce. Pokoj z antresola. Niezbyt duzy ale przytulny i dobrze wyposazony. Sniadanie typowe dla Francji. Sam hotel i okolica wynagradzaja pewne niedociagniecia (brak pradu w gniazdku, zbyt ciepla wida pod prysznicem bez mozliwosci regulacji). Polecam

Eccezionale tutto perfetto peccato per il ristorante che era chiuso di lunedì, paesino tranquillo, struttura nuova, personale gentilissimo, colazione perfetta da ritornarci senza ripensamenti.

Entering Murs we have a feeling that we backed to the past. Old small village with beautiful buildings. No crowd, in fact no people on the street. Hotel - only one in the city - is located in one of these old buildings but inside is really nice and tidy. Stuff - owners are helpful but not so friendly as supposed. Room was two level. Toilet separate and clean. Bathroom with shower small. One electric socket was not working. But all this was not important - atmosphere of this hotel helps to forget some small problems. I would recommend for maximum couple of days.

Our stay at Relais de Silence Le Crillion was incredible. This is a very nice, quiet quaint hotel in an 18 century building with modern amenities. We had a nice balcony off our single room where we could read, eat a snack and just relax or just take a cute set of stairs down to take a walk along the streets of the village of Murs. The hotel staff was fantastic and super friendly! They went out of their way to help us in every way. Our experience could not have been better. Murs is beautiful quiet and quaint French Village about 10 kilometers north of Gordes, France where we attended a wedding. Le Crillion is very affordable and we would stay there again.

Serendipity. We could not use wifi at previous hotel, so we pulled into this quaint hotel in a lovely village and booked a night. We had a very pretty room with a view of the village and greenery beyond. Clean, excellent wifi! We were REALLY surprised to find the restarant! He charming fellow at desk suggest we book a table. Really? We didn't even see any people. By 7 pm the restaurant was full and for very good reasons, the food and atmosphere were superb! At one point, there was a racket outside and to our delight, there was a large goat herd heading up the village road! Don't miss a stay in Provence's many sleepy villages,and definitely stay here!

Murs is a lovely village in the middle of the Luberon. There's not much there, but its a quiet base from which it's quite easy to visit the other great towns nearby, including Gordes, Roussillion, and Lecoste, and to try some excellent wines in their native settings. Le Crillon is the centre of activity in Murs. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, with good beds and large bathrooms. Our room opened to a juliette balcony directly above the entrance, with a terrific view across the valley. The breakfast is simple and well prepared. We found the service in the hotel generally to be excellent: a nice welcome upon arrival, good suggestions about where to visit and routes, and a pleasant efficient check-out. We also dined at the restaurant, the first night because we were tired and did not care to drive to another village, and the second night because we had enjoyed the meal and hospitality. We liked our long weekend in the Luberon, and plan to visit again soon.

2 nights in May. Hotel is on one of the more northern towns on the Luberon triangle. Service is friendly. Good for a couple of nights.

Stayed one night in this lovely little hotel- in a gorgeous Provence village. The decor was lovely, the bathroom modern and clean and we had a terrace which was quiet and peaceful. We'd booked as we wanted to dine in the restaurant but did not find out until after we had booked and paid that it would be closed. Owner was helpful with recommedations- but only in other villages as theirs was the only restaurant in the village, and all were too far to walk. It was a Sunday, we know that France closes on a Sunday, but there was absolutely no service from the owner- she told us that she needed a rest! Breakfast was not included and was expesnive- but there is a really delicious deli/ bakery just round the corner & plenty of scenic places to stop and eat! These things are bearable, but the reason that we would not go back is the lack of sound proofing between rooms- we could hear everything: footsteps, zips on bags being opened- including being woken up by (very loud!) snoring in the night. Bit of a let down as it should be a great hotel.
