Fortuna Downtown Boutique

On our other trips to Fortuna we always stayed at one of the resorts on the way towards Arenal and taxi'd into Fortuna in the evenings for the bars and restaurants. This trip we changed it up and stayed right downtown. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Downtown hotel. The staff was great, we liked the unique rooms and being right in the middle of town surrounded by all the bars, restaurants and soda's you could ever want. We'd definitely stay here again. Perfect location and a nice place to stay.

Right in the heart of La Fortuna so very convenient. Good breakfast

Amazing staff! Restaurant and bar on site with nightly entertainment. Food was outstanding! It’s located in the middle of town and walkable to many restaurants. We were picked up for all excursions right at the hotel including the volcano, hot springs, zip lining, tubing.

Central to fortuna but very loud at night and walls are paper thin. Includes breakfast but we never got a chance to try it because we were running around most mornings

Very good and comfortable stay. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Prime location next to shops, bank, and most tours pick up from here. They can arrange shuttle or private transport for you to the airport, as well as book tours.

Marlon at the front desk was very nice and helpful. They give you a very tasty fruit drink at check-in. There is a trade off when you stay downtown. You get to watch the people and it’s convenient for eating and entertainment, but then you get traffic noise at night. Considering it’s right on a very very busy main street, the noise is probably what you should expect. Decent place and clean, but nothing fancy.

Great value
