The Olive Branch Inn

Work trip overnight. Food great

Very pleasantly surprised by The Olive Branch which looks very ordinary from the outside and is a roadside inn on a fairly main road. The reception was very friendly and we were shown to our rooms in an adjacent building ~ what a pleasant surprise, good sized rooms, very comfortable and with large well equipped bathrooms. We had an excellent evening meal in warm friendly surroundings and charming service. The only downside was a certain amount of traffic noise but then I live in the depths of the country and it didn't worry my colleague from London at all !

Lovely Inn within walking distance to Marsden. Room was a good size and nicely furnished with all the amenities we needed. Staff friendly and helpful. Make sure you have dinner as the food and service was top notch, we were told it was good but it surparsed our expectations. Very nice cooked breakfast both mornings too, would recommend to anyone.

We stayed over night, my husband had been on business and we met up with family from Delph. A warm welcome and friendly atmosphere

We stayed at The Olive Branch for our anniversary. It was a random find so we didnt know what to expect. The surrounding areas are idyllic and perfect if you enjoy a scenic drive/walk. The hotel itself is picture perfect, the staff were amazingly friendly and everything about the Olive Branch is exactly what anyone could wish for. Cosy, welcoming, clean and the food in the restaurant was exceptional.

Great rooms, and amazing food, and great views

Wonderful place. Large, comfortable room and amazing food. All provided with a friendly welcome and good service. Breakfast set the day off brilliantly, just wish I'd been able to stay a little longer.
