Very central location in Ballarat near the lake with pubs and cafes around. Spacious room with excellent facilities and very friendly staff. Would like to recommend to the families and friends.

Not a lot maybe the fact that they had Foxtel

I was extremely disappointed with this hotel. I booked a room for one adult and two children, but when we arrived, there was only one queen bed and one single bed. I have travelled to Ballarat for the past five years, and every other hotel I’ve stayed at has always provided one queen bed and two single beds for this type of booking. My children are not little anymore – my 14-year-old son is 6 feet tall – so the sleeping arrangements were completely unsuitable. This was also the most expensive hotel I have paid for, and to top it off, there was no kitchen available, which was very inconvenient when travelling with children. To make matters worse, the walls were paper-thin. We could clearly hear the man in the room next door snoring throughout the night. I also placed the sign on the door requesting that our room be cleaned, but when we returned later that evening, it had not been cleaned at all. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing and certainly did not meet my expectations, especially considering the price we paid. Unfortunately, I would not choose to stay here again.

Reception staff was very knowledgable, professional and honest. I would stay here again.
